Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards and projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

I was inspired by this card from Kristina Werner, especially the gold layers.

Since I did not have the stamps, I decided to use my Silhouette to cut a tree that included the sentiment. I cut the Merry Christmas Tree image (#14865) purchased from the Silhouette on-line store, out of Anna Griffin gold glitter paper. The image measures 4.240 x 5.130 inches.

The first layer measures 4.636 inches x 5.623 inches. I then used the Silhouette Studio offset tool to cut the next layer .125 inches larger. Lastly, I matted the gold glitter layer to a crème card.

Next time I am using standard size measurements!

Thanks for stopping by and have a marvelous Monday!

Thanksgiving Bingo

I hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving week with friends and family.

These Thanksgiving bingo cards from Gifts.com are the perfect way to celebrate the season! Instead of calling out the different cards, you and your family look around and mark your card off as things happen. There are funny options, like "Someone's a picky eater" and "Story you've heard 100 times" so that you'll be sure to have a laugh!

I am going to download both the adult and children bingo cards for tomorrow!

These would also make a great gift for your host.

Have a Happy Turkey Day!

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards and projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

I used the Happy Holidays Christmas Card-1, a Cricut Make It Now project. I used regular card stock and very light weight printed paper that was part of a pad that I purchased two years ago. My Cricut Maker cut the printed paper perfectly. I set the material to light patterned paper and the pressure to less. I love my Cricut Maker more every day!

It took a while to glue all the layers, but it was so worth it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a marvelous Monday!

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards and projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them

I am in love with Anna Griffin’s Ornaments Cricut cartridge and I can’t wait to make more ornaments.

I used my Cricut Maker to cut Anna Griffin 6x6 inch card stock from my stash. To cut the thicker paper, I created a custom setting of 299 and single cut. I set the pressure setting to “more” because the paper was thicker than most of her 12 x 12 papers.

For the 3D angel ornament, I used image # M351B194.

The 3D star ornament was made using #M351A875 and for the 3D bell I used image #M35089FF. I love how you could use the bell and the star for table decorations or ornaments.

Thanks for stopping by and have a marvelous Monday!
