Happy to be Home……

We got home last night. It has been a long three weeks made easier by all your sympathy cards, emails and comments. We are so grateful for all your kind gestures.

I am unpacking and catching up on laundry, so I have not had time to create. However, I want to share a fun project from Poodles.

I love these miniature no cutting clutch bags and I can’t wait to make them.

I love her videos!

Cricut Tag Mini Gift Boxes

I recently received an email from Graphic 45 showcasing mini gift bags using Graphic 45 tags. I loved the idea so much that I created these adorable little tag gift bags using my Cricut Explore Machine and paper scraps for the mini bags. I will be back Wednesday with a video tutorial!

I am in love with these tags made from Cricut cartridges. I am currently filming a video on how to make these mini gift bags and I hope to have it posted on Wednesday.

I wanted this tag to be special, so I hand pieced the inserts to look like a mosaic. I will explain more in my upcoming video.

I love this Cricut tag.

I customized the mini bag to fit this tag and it was so easy to do!

Stay tuned for links and a video! Work is a little crazy this week so I am behind. Too many ideas and too little time. Sound familiar?

Have a great Monday!

Magnet Bag Tutorial

Last year, thanks to a wonderful video by Sam Hammond, I made an adorable box using my envelope punch. Guess what? Sam has come up with a super cute bag and all she uses is her scoring board. Very clever!

These are perfect for spring party favors or a cute little gift. Click here to see her entire blog post.

And she even did a video on how to make this project!

Here is the bag I made last year using the envelope punch. Click here to see my entire post.

Hope you enjoyed her videos.

We have hit a little snag with the cabinets for my craft room, so the remodel will take longer than expected. I can’t wait to have it finished. More photos will be coming soon. Have a great day!

Three Easy Glitter Techniques to Use with your Die Cuts and Cutting Machine

Last week I posted this on Lori Whitlock’s blog and had to share! I love glitter and in today’s video tutorial I demonstrate three easy glitter techniques to use with your die cuts.

I used Lori’s Bag Topper file to make this adorable gift bag. The flowers are cut using Glitter paper and my Silhouette Cameo. To learn more about this technique and to see two additional glitter techniques, please watch the video below.

These flowers are super cute and I love how they look cut out of glitter paper.

Hope you enjoyed the video and have a wonderful day!
