Card Portfolio with Envelopes and Matching Cards

I had so much fun making this Card Portfolio with Envelopes and Matching Cards and think you will too. Be sure to watch the video for complete instructions. I have also included the measurements below for your convenience. A very special thanks to Pieces of Me for creating the free George Cut file. Also be sure and check out her blog. It is amazing!

Inside of portfolio made with two envelopes

A card and envelope that fits in the portfolio.

My video tutorial!

Measurements for portfolio:

Two 5-1/8 x 7-1/8 inch envelopes. Staples have 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 specialty envelopes 10 for $4.99.

Blue liner is 5 x 7 inches

For the grass, I used a free svg file but you could use the grass cut from the Plantin Cartridge

Measurements for house:

Free download from Pieces of Me. using the George Cartridge

Oval for the sentiment is from SVG Cuts, cut at 3 inches or you could use a scalloped circle from Mini Monograms or from Sentimentals. Inside oval measures 2-1/4 x 1-5/8.

Envelopes to fit inside the portfolio

The envelope is cut at 6 inches using the Wildcard blackout feature on page 75.
I used the icon feature and cut out the panels.

Cards to fit inside the portfolio

The card is cut at 6 inches using the regular card feature. I used Design Studio’s hide contour function to remove shingles. I also cut the roof, window, door, and tree layers.

I'd be happy to buy the George file for the house "card", but it is no longer available according to the website. Is it possible that you could "convince" the creator of this great cut to offer it again for purchase? Such a perfect combination!
