Cindy Loo Owl Card

I love my new Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge and it is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. For this card, I used Design Studio to weld two owls together to form a card. The owl is on page 60 of the handbook and is cut at 5 ¼ inch.

The blue layer is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swirl embossing folder and the white layer is embossed using the Swiss Dot folder. I love Signo’s uni-ball broad tip pen and used it to outline around the owl. It is my favorite white pen and produces consistent results!

So easy and too cute!

This is great! I just got my cindy loo cart but have not yet created a thing!
I like how instead faux stitch you did dots! never thought of it, but now? (that means I will scraplift!)
thanks for leaving a reply/comment regarding the envelopes... do you know the best paper to use so that they won't look broken?
On another subject, because of your review on scoreboards, I bought the MS one... can't wait till Wednesday to see if I buy the Cinch or Bind-it-all.
Thanks for all you share!!!!!

Gaby: I like to use a light weight paper or card stock for the envelopes.

Also if possible fold with the grain line instead of against it.
See my expandable card box video for more info on folding with the grain.

Also using the score board to make envelopes should help.

If you are using a heavier card stock... some times it helps to fold right sides together first and then fold again with the wrong sides together.

Let me know if this works!

Beautifully done. Awesome colours too. I just had DH hook up my Cricut Designer Studio, but now the hard part is learning this. I did see welding in the book, so now I know what you're talking about.
