In today’s video I will show you how to use your Cuttlebug to emboss suede (velvet) paper and how to use your Cricut to cut the paper. We will also make a cute embossed tag…just in time for Christmas.
Thanks for visiting and Happy Holidays!

Linda, I can't believe you are still making videos this close to Christmas. Thanks for all of them. The tag is beautiful.
Sue
Thanks Sue and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Linda
Linda,
Took a brake from my Christmas preperations and ran across this video on cutting an embossing suede paper. So glad I did, cause I have some that has been in my stash for several years now. I will have to dig it out and give this a try. Thanks. Happy Holidays.
Marcie
Thanks Marcie for the nice comment. I love how this paper embosses and cuts. Smooth and easy!

Linda, So many ideas, so much knowledge you share. Thanks! Which cart did you use for the snowflake (I didn't catch the name when you mentioned!).
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Louise
Louise, thanks for the nice comment! I used Very Merry Tags!
Linda
Thanks for that, Linda. I have some suede paper - but didn't even think about embossing it (which surprises me as I emboss almost everything!). You mentioned the speed if not using Design Studio. Do you know if there is a way to adjust the speed when using DS?
Your tag is gorgeous! The suede on glitter is such a lovely combination.
Kate: Thanks for the nice comment!! I so wish you could adjust the speed of DS, but I can't figure it out. If you find a way, please let me know. Maybe if PC comes out with a new version, it will be included:)
Linda
Thanks, Linda. I've never been able to find a way either. It's usually not a problem, but there are times when I'm doing intricate cuts with finer paper that I would like to slow my Cricut down a bit.
Wow that was a beautiful tag, Linda! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Melody! I love Very Merry Tags!
