Happy Birthday!

Today, I want to share with you my design project for Creative Critterz Imaginations blog.
I got the idea from a card in Cards magazine and just had to adapt it!

Since one of the hottest trends this year is buttons, I wanted to make a card using the Imagine and buttons. I made this cute card for a friend’s birthday, but it could be easily adapted for many different occasions. I think it would make a fun thank you or an anniversary card!

First, I made several sheets of paper using the Best Friends cartridge. The background card measures 5 ½ x 6 ½ inches and I used the pink paper on page 46 for the card base. The next layer is cut at 5 ¼ x 5 ¼ using the yellow paper on page 46. The inside layer is cut at 5 x 5 inches and flood filled with paper from page 35.

The flowers are cut at 1.5 inches and are on page 17. I only cut the last layer from that image.

Lastly, I used Photoshop to make the sentiment, attached buttons with glue dots and pop dotted the flowers.

Recipe:

Imagine Best Friends
Printed or stamped sentiment
Dimensionals
Glue runner
Glue Dots
Buttons from my stash

Thanks for visiting and have a great week.
