Bo Bunny Meets the Imagine

Today, I want to share with you my design project for Creative Critterz Imaginations blog.

Most of you know Bo Bunny is one of my favorite companies and that I love their card kits. I find it challenging to make masculine cards and Bo Bunny makes it so easy with their new Timepiece Card Kit.

Since the card was so easy to make, I thought I would use the Imagine to decorate the inside of my card and the envelope. I really did feel guilty making a kit card, but I quickly got over it!

For the envelope I cut the image on page 31. Then, of course, I used pop dots to add dimension. I seem to go through a lot more pop dots using the Imagine, but I love the look!

For the inside of the card and envelope, I used the Imagine More cartridge. This cartridge has so many images that go perfectly with the Timepiece Collection.

First I traced the bottom of the card and covered it with brown card stock and added a ribbon.

Next, I cut the image on page 17, only using the first layer and flood filled it with paper from page 42. Your size will depend on the size of your card. This image was cut at 3 inches.

I used Photoshop to create the text and printed directly on the shape. I love this shape and plan to use it to make a card. There are so many fun shapes on the Imagine cartridges. I used pop dots to give it extra dimension and I was finished with the inside.

Brown card stock for the inside of the card
Ribbon from my stash

Thanks for visiting and have a great week.

This is fabulous! I love the way you used the kit and yet still made things your own. Great job!

Linda,
I love your card. I was doubtful on getting the imagine because of all the horror stories, but I am going to order it today. I am so excited, and can't wait to get it.

That looks great! There is no shame in using a kit, especially when you put your own spin on it in the details :)
