Cuttlebug, Spellbinders, Duct Tape, Oh My!

I love my Cuttlebug and just purchased my first Spellbinder Dies and just had to try them in my Cuttlebug. I also discovered that you can make amazing embossed metallic paper using your Cuttlebug and Duct tape. To see how I did both, please scroll down and watch the video!

I just love the labels from Spellbinders and used them for the inside of my card. BoBunny kit cards are wonderful, they allow me to concentrate on the inside of my cards for a change!

Have a great day and be sure to stop in Thursday for a fun Terrifically Talented Thursday!

I am a Spellbinder addict!
You can use the air conditioner duct tape, they sale at the hardware stores, for cutting on the Cricut and the die machine. After, place it on paper, of course. Another brand they have is a metal tape, used for metal repair and can be sanded.
Ink the edges of you Spellbinder after you have embossed it, will bring out the embossed edge. Looks great!
I save paper, by lining my sentiment up on the top left hand corner.
Thanks for your videos, they are great and have been a wealth of information.

Linda, Love you duct tape tip! This technique reminded me of the same use with aluminum foil tape (also used on ducts and heating thingies). It is a big more expensive that duct tape but the results are awesome. It almost looks like pressed tin except that it is shiny. You have to try it!
BTW, I did find some at Big Lots that was not too expensive, maybe $4 a roll? It was tape stuck to itself and just a little thinner. The tape at Home Depot had a no-stick backing on it (like the material stickers are stuck on) and was a little thicker. Super clever of you - duct tape!!! I'll have to raid my hubby's work bench haha! I love that sentiment too! First time I heard that was in a movie (early 1990s) Boyz in the Hood. Happy early Father's Day to your hubby!
