Last week I made a fun video on how to use the Cuttlebug to cut and emboss Spellbinder’s Nestabilites. I also demonstrated how to use the Cuttlebug to make metallic looking embossed paper using duct tape.
After making the video, I decided to try embossing other types of paper. Please watch the video to see what I discovered. Hint… it involves napkins, tissue paper, suede paper, freezer paper and envelopes.
Have a great day and be sure to stop in Thursday for a fun Terrifically Talented Thursday!

Thanks, Linda! The Cuttlebug is by far one of my favourite crafting tools. I've also embossed transparencies with good success. (See here for an example.)
I never thought to do the envelope flaps. What a great idea! I have even embossed the plastic that comes around the Cricut cartridges (after trimming it of course). Hmmm, what else can we run through that great machine?
Awesome ideas Linda! Love the napkin... I can see it for weddings, baby showers and such! Thanks!

I love all your videos, Linda! I have actually been embossing the back flaps of all my cards for over a year now and I think it adds a huge WOW factor. I have gotten so many compliments on it. The only downfall is you need to make sure the design on the embossing folder is not only going up and down otherwise the design on the envelope would be sideways. My favorite one to use is the cuttlebug birthday folder for all the b-day cards I send out :)
Beth, thanks for the great comment and ideas! I am so going to try the birthday folder:)

I saw a video of your's where you made a tin box into a file for you embossing folders. You used a template to make folders to put the embossing folder in. I have tried to down load the template but have not been able to. Is there any other way I can do this. This was a perfect organizer.
Thanks Sharon
