In April, I saw a video by Creations with Christina on how to make flowers out of polymer clay. It looked like fun, but I wanted to try making clay flowers inexpensively before purchasing a craft oven, tools etc. I found the perfect solution while I was on vacation. Hobby Lobby sells air dry clay and very inexpensive molds, so I just had to try them. I love the result and hope you do too.
And now for the winner of the thank you giveaway!

I just love your clay video, once I was working with paper clay and if you put a tad bit of water on your fingers it will help. I also wanted to share that I sometimes use chalk on the paperclay and it gives a really delicate look. I haven't tried pearl ex, thanks for sharing.
Adnot's Inkpad, thanks so much for the great tips! I will try water and chalk!

Linda,
I think your clay flowers turned out wonderful. I had also seen the video Christina did and have been wanting to try this. I am definitely going to have to try both methods. Being a real beginer I need everything to start and I like your inexpensive approach, so thanks for sharing.

Great idea! I love the low-cost approach too as I don't have a lot to spend on crafts lately.
Thanks for sharing...I've always wondered what it was like working with clay.
I am a new follower to The Paper Boutique and I have to say I have already learned so much. Thank you so much for doing all your videos. I have a cricut imagine and bought it when they first came out on HSN but used it very little. I guess I was a bit intimidated by how to use it. Seeing all these great ideas has inspired me to get creative! Thanks! Becky
Thanks for sharing this video. I'm going to give this a try!
