Fab Five Friday!

Welcome to Fab Five Friday! For those of you that are new to this blog, every Friday during the summer, I will be showcasing five blogs, websites or posts that I think you will enjoy.

This is my favorite cake box ever using the new Cricut Sweet Tooth cartridge! Marlene Gomez from Scappin Cookie is one talented lady or should I say cookie! Be sure to check out her amazing blog. Her cake slice looks good enough to eat. In fact, the first time I saw this post, I thought it was a real slice of cake.

If you are looking for a fun project to do with your children, check out this post on how to make colorful monsters out of homemade play dough. Kim uses circle punches, eyelets, brads and more to make these cute monsters. Check out Kim’s blog, Think Fast for her recipe.

I can’t believe that I just discovered this amazing challenge blog! It may old news to you, but new to me. Mojo Monday is a great resource that has weekly card challenges along with amazing ideas. For instant inspiration, check out their sketch gallery. Amazing!!

One of my all-time favorite stores is Archivers. Unfortunately the closest one to us is in Boise, Idaho. If you do not have an Archivers close by be sure to check out their on-line store for the next best shopping experience. Also be sure to check out their card and page of the month ideas.

Last week I featured a video from Dawn of Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts and guess what she did? Another amazing video that I just had to share. Wow, two in a row! For a video on how to do a mother of pearl background, click here. Her YouTube channel is a must see!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a fun filled Friday!

Wow that box did look like a real slice of cake! Thanks for the links esp to the card challenge as I've lost my mojo - no pun intended really! I've just not been very motivated to craft in the last month or so :(

Melody, hang in there.I love your work and everyone goes through creative down times.

Summers are especially busy and tough to find time to be creative.

I love to look at challenge sites for ideas. Have fun!!
