How to Make a Spray Box for Spraying Inks, Glimmer Mist, Paints, Etc.

I recently bought a Color Catcher at Michaels and it works great! I use it to protect my work area when I use glimmer mist, spray inks or paint. However, I wanted my box to be just a little larger so I made my own spray box version. After a few experiments I was able to make one that is larger and collapsible for easy storage. I used a readily available box, the kind they ship 8 ½ x 11 inch copy paper in so the materials would be easy to find. This is a super easy and quick project that will help protect your work area. Happy crafting!

I have been using spray catchers for years for small and large home projects. Anything that needs to be spray painted. Sure does save your surfaces. Great how-to video Linda. I think everyone has a box or two around. Can't imagine buying one of these when you can make it. After all, we are crafters and usually think outside the box anyway. Right?

How easy is that? I have a Color Catcher and you're right, it does need to be bigger. Great video and super easy instructions.

Super idea! I love that it collapses for easy storage (although my son is collecting binder clips - so I'm not sure that would work for me if he sees them!!).

Thanks for the great tutorial, Linda. I've just been using a box turned on it's side, but it's so big, it takes a tremendous amount of space to store it. I'm off to make your version right now! ~Hugs, Cheryl
