Tool Time Contest!

Are you ready to play tool time? To play, you need to be a subscriber/follower of my blog. You can sign up over on the left side of this blog (if you are not there already).

Leave a comment on this post telling us what your favorite crafting tool is (aside from your Cricut) and why you can’t live without it. Please one comment per person and remember the contest closes Sunday night at midnight. The winner will be picked at random using the random number generator and will be announced on Monday October 3rd. The winner will receive either the Cricut Preserves or the Just Because Cards cartridge. You get to choose!

I can’t wait to find out your favorite tools and I know you will want to read everyone’s comments too! The last contest was so much fun. Click here if you want to read 96 amazing crafting tips.

My favorite tool not counting my Cricuts are my score boards. I can’t live without them and use them for almost every project. I use them to score my cards, to make projects, and quick envelopes and liners. Love my score boards!

Click here to see a post and video I made a few months ago comparing the newest Score- Pal to the Martha Stewart Score Board. In this post, I also include links to my videos on how to make and decorate envelopes.

Now it is your turn to play…. Ready, Set, Go!!!

I have SOOO many favorite tools, but aside from the obvious of my Cricut, stamps, paper trimmers, scissors, etc... I think one of my favorite odd ones is my Tim Holtz distress tool - such a tiny simple thing, but adds so much!

I just got the ATG gun and I love it, so right now that is my favorite tool, but other than that I would have to say my Creative Memories Pick up square. I make a mess when I craft so it is so handy to just "pick up" all the glue and tape gunk on my mat.

My favorite tool will have to be my tweezers. I was making a card and I couldn't find my tweezers and I ended up with glue all over my fingers and it's hard getting those little pieces off of fingers that have glue on them

I would have to say my Cuttlebug & folders. I sometimes feel my cards are naked if I haven't cuttlebugged something on them. This might prove to be a bad thread to follow...I'm thinking my 'need list' could have a few more things on it by Sunday!

Have to say my cuttlebug! When someone asks me about starting card making, I always suggest that early on. When my cards just don't look quite finished, I take it apart and run the background through my cuttlebug. Also, you gotta have the dies to make labels with sentiments!

folder. I like this one because of the shiny metal tip. It just glides

I Love, Love, Love my decorative edge scissors! I don't want to have endless amounts of punches so I invested in decorative edge scissors from Fiskars. They give me the same effect that most punches will do. Now every now and then I need a scallop circle (which I cannot cut myself with the scissors) so there are times when you will need some punches. However, I just didn't want to have 20 or so different punches when 7 pairs of decorative edge scissors will do the trick.
