All About Glue Guns and the New Glue Gun Helpers Kit from Plaid

I have been searching for the perfect glue gun and I finally found it so I decided to make a video about all the different glue guns I tried. Also, I just received the new glue gun helpers’ kit from Plaid and thought you might like to see the tools in action.

In part two of this two part series, we will be making some fun accents out of hot glue.

Thanks for visiting!

Thanks for all the info! I need to get one of those glue guns with a smaller nozzle--I never even knew they existed. And that mat and the glue tools looks like a good investment, too. Can't wait to see next week's video! ~Hugs, Cheryl

Thanks so much for that very informative video! I didn't know that there were both high and low temperature glue guns. What are the temperature ranges for the categories? I LOVE the idea of the silicone fingertip protector too! That's such a fabulous idea!
I'm looking forward to part two of the video - and your Happy Hauntings mouse project!!

Your video couldn't come at a better time. For the past 3 days I've been searching online and at the craft stores for a perfect glue gun. Even saw this one at Wal-Mart. Thanks so much. I am looking forward to your other projects using the glue gun.

Great video Linda. I watched an infomercial on the mat, finger tips the other day. Those tools are amazing. I have three glue guns and don't know why I have so many. Now I'm going to have to study the tips and see what size they are. I never knew there were different sizes. Thank you for your infomercial!

Hi Linda,
I just wanted to tell you that you are by no doubt my favorite blogger. I know when I get a post from you that I will learn something new so you are the first one I will read or watch.

So thanks for all you do, it does not go unappreciated.

Great info on glue guns Linda! I agree that the I-Bond is nice but is slow to heat up. Love the mat and tools...will be on the lookout for them! TFS, ~Terry~

Kate, I did a little research and found a couple of sites listing temps. Not sure if they are totally acurate but this should give you an idea. Low temp 250 degrees and high temp 380 degrees. Hope this helps!

Great, informational video. Linda, can you advise on what adhesives, glues, glue dots, etc. to use for adhering things when not using a hot glue gun as I am a new crafter and end up making a big glue mess rather than getting glue where I need it.

Thanks, Tina

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Linda, my glue gun is the one I bought back in 1992, when I first started teaching! I desperately needed to upgrade, but had no idea of which way to go. Your video was awesome. I'm going to Joann's after school today (no Walmart around here), and I'm going to order the tools too. You are the best!!!

Linda, Thanks for the video. Turns out that I had bought the mat when it was craft day on HSN. I also have the favorite glue gun you have. I have not used either because I was concerned about using a glue gun as I had not in many years! But when I saw the mat on TV, I thought maybe I would use my gun now if I had the mat. Your video was excellent and now I am excited about using my gun. Many thanks to you! God bless, Smoochie
