Light it Up…It’s Your Birthday!

I got the idea for this quick and easy card from the Cricut Cards magazine. I made a number of changes including the sentiment, but used the basic idea. Did I mention that I love the Cricut Card Magazine? So many great ideas for using your Cricut!

I needed a quick masculine birthday card and thought this would be great for the occasion. Lately, I have been neglecting my Imagine, so I decided to use it for this card, but you could use any paper from your stash!

The outside of this card measures 4 ¼ inches x 5 ½ inches. I used the Imagine More cartridge to print paper to cover the white card base. The brown and ivory layers are paper from my stash. I used MS Word for the sentiment and then cuttlebugged the ivory sheet.

The lamp and layers are from the Country Life cartridge and cut at 4.5 inches. I flood filled the layers using paper from the Imagine More cartridge. I so love the paper from this cart!

Once again, I used the Imagine More cartridge to print the paper and added a sentiment using word. I love how the Imagine makes it so easy to coordinate papers!

Recipe:
Cricut “Country Life” Cartridge
Cricut Imagine “Imagine More” Cartridge
Brown and ivory paper from my stash
Cuttlebug embossing folder
MS Word for the sentiment
Cricut Card magazine for the inspiration!

Thanks for visiting and please stop back tomorrow for a fun new video.

You have such great ideas! I've only been 'following' you for a week (since your "guest spot') & I'm so inspired! (and lighter in the wallet as I went out & purchased some of the cartridges & tools you used!)

Love this card. I imagine having an 'Imagine' one day, or better still an E2.
