why would you make a smash book instead of a scrapbook. Thought scrapbooks took the place of smash books many years ago as the old scrapbooks (smash books( did not preserve the picture..

Thanks for sharing your video. My first Smash book is on it's way to me and I've already been thinking of how to make my own. I just loved your video and can't wait for the next 1 or 2.

Terrific idea.. reminds me of a 'scrapbook' I made in junior high complete with pictures of bugs, leaves, flowers, etc. I taped cutout magazine pictures of all the things I wanted to keep and then I would write notes on the pages. Taping a couple of pages together sure would have made my project more stable. I wanted to be a biologist at the time but ended with a degree in library science. What a fun project then and would be now with the more stylized dressing up of the pages.

This is a really great idea. I've been using a Smash book and had thought of making one customized for myself, so I'm glad to see your ideas. I can see making these for teacher's gifts with perhaps an apple, rulers, etc. on cover.

This is gorgeous!! I really do love the Smash Books as they are super heavy weight paper and really for $12.99 you get your money's worth. But I love this idea for a themed book. I think it would be great to make a themed Wedding Book or I have been thinking of doing a Themed "Senior Year" for my daughter as she just loves her Smash book!!

Great Inspiration. Well done videos!

I love it when bloggers show us how to make inexpensive (and original) versions of those expensive kits out there. Yours is adorable and we probably all have carts with similar cuts that we can substitute if we don't have the exact one you used.
