Masculine Cards

I tend to panic when I need a quick and easy masculine card. Fortunately, I found this simple design at the Silhouette On-line store. This card took about 15 minutes to make and the hardest part was picking out the papers. This would also make a great Father’s Day card. For a totally different look, you could add a pocket or tie tack.

I cut a one inch circle and offset it using my Cameo. Then I used Word to add the sentiment. Click here to see my video on adding sentiments using Word and here to see my video on adding sentiments using Photoshop.

If you do not have a Cameo or electronic cutter, click here for a very similar card that you can cut using a scissors and ruler. Thanks Susan Roberts for this amazing tutorial. Be sure to check out her blog Rainy Day Creations while you are there!

I thought it would be fun to share some of my other masculine cards with you…just in case you were looking for some quick and easy ideas.

This card was one of my husband’s favorite cards ever. Can you tell he loves the Grizzly’s football  team? Click here to see the original post.

Every once in a while, I like to make a kit card because I find that it kick starts my creativity. Bo Bunny kits are amazing and I love having time to make a custom envelope! Click here to see the original post.

This card is made using duct tape. What man wouldn’t love it? It would be perfect for a Valentine ’s Day card. Click here to see how to make rosettes using duct tape.

Thanks for visiting and please stay tuned for a fun new video.

What super cards! There are so many ideas for feminine cards out there that it is SUCH a treat to see a collection of male cards - old and new! Thanks for the inspiration!
The tie shirt is fabulous and perfect with the traditional notion of giving dad a tie for Father's Day!

That is totally amazing. I found the pattern for that shirt last year. This year all the men in my lift (husband, nephews, son-in-law) are getting that same card. Different colors and did not put the circle with Happy Birthay in it. But that is amazing. Great minds think alike.

What wonderful Father's Day cards! I especially like the Bo Bunny card with matching envelope, and the last card with the duck tape medallion -- genius!
