I saw an adorable fan card on the cover of the July/August issue of Paper Crafts magazine and could not wait to make one. I used a Silhouette retro fan image and a different sentiment, however, if you click here, Paper Crafts magazine has a free PDF of their design that you can download and cut. Be sure to scroll down to find the fan PDF. You will see several free downloads before you get to the fan card. All you need is a scissors. Easy peasy!
Click here to see the Silhouette cut.
I added a circle to the back of the cut and glued a fan base to another circle to turn this into a quick and easy card. My finished card measures 4 ¾ x 6 inches.
I love my Cricuts, but the Cameo is my go-to machine for intricate cuts. For the intricate wire cage, I used a heavy metallic paper and used the double cut setting. I set my Cameo to 1 for the speed, 33 for the pressure and I set the blade on 6. I even cut glitter paper with my Cameo! Love it!
I used Word for the sentiment, added an embellishment from my stash and was done!
Thanks for visiting and please stay tuned for a fun new video. Hint….This video involves a Martha Stewart product.

How adorable is this! That fan cut is too cute, and yes, your Cameo cut it beautifully! It always amazes me how well it cuts those teeny lines!
