Last Friday, I posted an adorable flat backed treat box made by Patti Gilliam and I could not wait to make one.
I love the idea of the treat box and thought it would also make a great place card filled with chocolate nuggets. I used some DCVW Halloween paper so it was super easy. I wanted the card back a little larger than the pattern, so I cut it to the size I wanted and attached it to the back panel. I cut the witch out of another sheet of paper added dimensionals and was done!
I used my Cameo to weld and cut the name. I could have used my Cricut too! Next I attached the name to a ½ inch piece of paper that I scored and folded in half. The place card is not attached so my guests can remove their name and have a cute card and box. One down….tons to go!
I also want to have a table of party favors to give out…so I needed something extremely quick and easy. Luckily I found this file at the Silhouette on-line store. I added a few layers using my Cameo and was finished. You could leave out the stitching if you want this to be even quicker and easier. I may do that on the rest of them. Yikes….Halloween is almost here!
I think they coordinate nicely.
