Welcome to Fab Five Friday. For those of you that are new to this blog, every Friday I showcase five blogs, websites or posts that I think you will enjoy.
But before we get started I want to let everyone know that I was saddened to hear that the blog Everyday Cricut is closing. I have followed this amazing blog since they were Christmas with the Cricut. In fact, Melanie and Joy's work inspired me to start my own blog. I was honored to have been a guest desinger on their blog and will continue to visit their individual blogs, Obsessed with Scrapbooking and Courtney Lane Designs and hope you do too! Good luck my talented friends.
This video on how to sharpen your paper punches was made by Megan from Above Rubies Studio and was featured on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Every Tuesday is quick tip Tuesday and this was their latest post. I can’t wait to try her techniques. Click here to see another very informative quick tip Tuesday, this time on ink pads.
If you are looking for color inspiration, you will want to visit the Color Room. Each week they feature a color palette and a sketch. If you are looking for scrapbooking ideas this is a must see. Wow!
Lilyshop blog is a beautiful lifestyle blog that has something for everyone. Be sure to check out her craft section and her recipes will make you hungry! I think her mini pumpkin cheesecake bites are my favorite.
As most of you know, I was so lucky to be asked to participate in a Martha Stewart contest and wanted to share with you the gorgeous winning post. Natalie Shriver made elegant ombre pendant lamps using Martha Stewart’s glass paint for the Design Love Fest blog. Be sure to take a look as these are stunning!
Paper flowers are so popular and Laura from Whimsical World of Laura Bird posted a very detailed paper flower tutorial. She even turned them into a folded flower wall hanging. Too clever!
Have a fun Fab Five Friday and please stop back on Sunday for Simply Organized Sunday (SOS).
