I am excited to announce that Silhouette sent me a copy of Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition software, a $50.00 value to giveaway on Black Friday. I use the designer edition and love it. It makes opening SVG files and designing super easy. In fact, I used it on today’s project. Here is a comparison between the basic and designer edition.
To enter please leave a comment under this post and follow the Silhouette Pinterest Board. You have until midnight on Thanksgiving to enter and the winner will be announced on Black Friday! And speaking of Black Friday, Silhouette is having a major sale! I am sworn to secrecy, but I can tell you if you are thinking about purchasing a Silhouette machine, stop back on Friday to see the best deal ever and to get your discount code. They are having a terrific and I mean terrific sale on their machines and more.
And now for today’s project. We have an annual Christmas candy making party and I try to make most of the boxes.
I just finished making 21 boxes using an adorable box from SVG Cuts. This is just a sampling of some of my favorites. Thank goodness for the SVG file, it made it so easy. I added acetate to the lid and cut a piece of paper to fit inside so you could fit two layers of candy.
Since our party isn’t until the middle of December, I cheated and purchased the candy in this box.

And these are more photos of the boxes designed by SVG Cuts. Love the file and you get the band and all the trimmings as part of this kit.
Thanks for visiting and please stop back Wednesday for a fun new video.
