How to Make a Door Organizer Out of Paper and Video

I saw a door organizer made out of fabric and could not wait to recreate it using paper. The fun thing about this project is that it works for any season. All you do is change the paper! I would also like to thank Making Memories for the pocket idea. I modified the pockets, but was inspired by MM. Be sure to scroll down to see my video.

I made my door organizer with three pockets so I could add little notes, grocery lists, and to do items. I also made it large enough to hold envelopes and Christmas cards to help me remember to mail them.

For my door organizer, I used the Very Merry Christmas Collection from Echo Park and have it hanging on my front door. It is both cute and functional. This photo shows what is under the note cards.

I used the Crafty Christmas Stack from DCWV that I picked up at Michaels. Be sure to watch the video below for detailed directions on how to make these quick and easy organizers.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

I LOVE this, Linda! Thanks for the great video tutorial! I'm always a little scared to watch your videos because EVERY TIME I leave needing to add something to my crafty wish list! I think I'll need to stop by Michael's on my way home today to pick up that stack!

Linda thanks for another great idea. Where did you get the tree and the Merry Christmas sticker on the last hanger? Sally

Sally thanks for the question. The tree and the Merry Christmas are both cut outs from the Crafty Christmas Stack by DCWV. The stack comes with two pages of cut outs! Love it!

What a wonderful idea! I'm thinking I'll hang one from each of my children's doors. It will be perfect for tucking in their mail, notes, chore lists, etc. Their eyes are glazed over in the pursuit of after school snacks, so they never see anything posted on the refrigerator!

Linda great idea I am reorganizing my bathroom and walk in closet and I think I will make it without the door hole and hang it inside my medicine cabnet to hold my pharmacy and Dr. Cards I won't have to dig in my bottomless pit of a purse when I need them. thanks for the idea.
