Creating a Shaped Card Using Samantha Walker’s Designs

Hi everyone! Yesterday I posted this adorable card and video on Samantha Walker’s blog and could not wait to share with all of you!

Before we get started, make sure you click here to enter my giveaway. I am giving away a Silhouette Portrait cutting machine and the giveaway closes tonight at midnight MDT. And don’t forget to check out Silhouette’s amazing sale. The Portrait is on sale for $139.99 and includes an amazing Sketch pen set. This is a great price!! Click here and type in the Promo Code BOUTIQUE when you order to receive the savings.

I love Samantha Walker’s designs from the on-line Silhouette store. In today’s video tutorial, I will show you how to make this cute shaped card using Samantha Walker’s Two Bunnies file and my Silhouette Cameo.

If you purchased this adorable file from the Silhouette on-line store it would come in several different pieces.

In today’s video I will show you how to take these individual pieces and turn them into a shaped card. This technique will work on almost any SVG or Silhouette design and is so fun and easy!

Love the bunny. I was considering purchasing the sillouette to use along with my cricut. Can you tell me how much you like the sillouette and why you purchased it. Thank you. jman4@comcast.net

Do not have a silhouette but that makes me want one - just can't afford it. That bunny is so cute and you have made some cute card/projects with the silhouette. TFS.

J...I love my Cameo and I purchased it because of all the fun features including print and cut, and the ability to cut fonts that I have on my computer. I love being able to purchase designs from the on-line store.

Silhouette has so many incredible artists creating a variety of designs that I can always find what I need. And I also wanted to be able to cut SVG and JPEG files.

I love how intricate and accurate it cuts too!

Check out Silhouette's site and you can download the software for free. I did before I bought my machine.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I am a newer user of the Cameo and have so much to learn! Your instructions were perfect, did not go too fast or slow and did not "assume" we knew too much already and at the same time did not talk down to us! I will be eagerly awaiting more videos and projects!
