This photo shows several trends that began last year and have carried forward. The chevron trend, the mustache trend and the black and white trend. The black and white trend really never went away!

Speaking of chevron trends, check out this DIY trend on how to use stencils to paint chevrons on steps. Love it. This trend also started last year but is still going strong.

A favorite hot trend of mine began last year. I am now addicted to flair buttons and you will be too after you visit these Pinterest boards. Love them!
Another current trend is ombre. Alexandra from Art Scrap and More was way ahead of the trend curve when she posted this amazing tutorial on how to make ombre cards using watercolors and heat embossing. They are truly stunning!
