Jackson Meets Bridget for the First Time

To bring you up to date Mila, our 1½ year old cat died two months ago with an intestinal bowel disorder and before that, our 7 year old cat Izzy died from brain seizures. After all that, Jackson our remaining cat has been extremely depressed and so have we.

We brought Bridget home last week and my husband filmed the first time that Jackson met her. He also did the voice over. Bridget was fostered by a wonderful woman who works for the Great Falls Animal Shelter. In fact she fostered Bridget’s mother and three adorable brothers and sisters that I was lucky to meet.

Bridget is 8 weeks old and weighs 2.3 lbs. She is small but very playful as you will see in the video. We kept Bridget in my husband’s office for two days so she could get used to her surroundings before meeting Jackson. They did however get a glimpse of each other thorough the office door.

Jackson weighs 18 lbs., but Bridget already has him wrapped around her little paw and follows him everywhere. She is convinced she can do whatever he can! And the funny thing is, she almost can!

A special thanks to my wonderful husband, Bill  for filming this video!

Have a great week and thanks for letting me show you our new fearless fur baby.

They look so gorgeous in your home on the pale, neutral background. One would almost think you decorated to show them off to best advantage. Congratulations on welcoming a new member of the family.

That was just so, so sweet! Jackson and Bridget remind me so much of bringing our Electra home to meet her big sister, Cosette. Electra still tries to get Cosette - and it has been four years! Enjoy these precious times with your sweet new kitten.

What a cute video! It must be a lot of fun watching those two get to know each other. I'm sure Bridget will very quickly become a very loved member of the family if she hasn't already achieved that status.

When they where little (Sadie)looked just like Bridget. Boy they are so much fun, hysterical with all there auntics.
