Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday… the Mini Series. I thought it would be fun to feature some quick and easy cards or projects that take minutes to make, but look like you spent hours making them.

I am in love with the new kit from SVG Cuts and had to make this adorable strawberry box card. I need to put a sentiment on the front, but first I need to decide if I am going to use this for a birthday card or a Mother’s Day card for a friend.

Aren't the strawberries adorable?

SVG Cuts latest kit is one of my all-time favorites. You get the 5 box cards shown above, envelopes plus you also get four “plain” box cards to quickly and easily cut out and decorate however you’d like. You also receive each “flat” element saved separately (for example, the three Hot Air Balloons) so you can easily use each element in any project. What a bargain! And I want to make sure that everyone knows you can use SVG Cut files with your new Cricut Explore. Yahoo!!

I made this card last month, but I wanted to show you another option. I purchased this box card file from the Silhouette On-line store.

The great thing about box cards is they fold up to fit inside an envelope.

Have a great day!

Wonderful looking cards! What size envelope do the SVG Cuts cards fit in? They look a different size than the Silhouette store A2 cards are.

Linda..I purchased this box card file as well and made the strawberry box card....it is SUCH a bargain as it contains so many variations of that box card including a princess castle. As far as envelopes...they are included in the file so that you have an perfect envelope for each card. I was so excited with how pretty it turned out...I used glitter paper for my strawberries and white flowers.

Coelle thanks for mentioning all the envelopes and answering Pamela's question! Glitter paper is such a great idea and thanks for sharing!
