My sister Di sent me this Cat in the Hat book she made for a friend’s daughter and I could not wait to share it with you. As most of you know Di, my much younger sister was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma on October 7th and is undergoing chemotherapy, but still has a long road ahead of her. Her husband recently started a fund raising campaign to help with the cost of her treatments. If you would like to contribute please click here. Thank you for all your calls, emails, and support. It means the world to us!
You can purchase a vintage Cat in the Hat book at a tag or garage sale and re-purpose it into a great mini album. Di used several vintage Dr. Seuss books to make the embellishments.
Her stunning book has over 35 places to add photos or journaling. Here is a photo of one of the pages totally open.
The vibrant colors are striking!
There are so many hidden places for photos and journaling.
The pearls are a perfect touch.
Please see the complete video tour below.
Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day!

Wow! This is unbelievable!!!
What a clever idea! It turned out so cute! Sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis. Your family is in my prayers.
FAB!!!!
This is an amazing mini album!!! I never thought to use an old book(s) to make a mini, but you can believe I will now! Love this idea. I know how costly fighting cancer is. DH is on his 4th treatment because the last two didn't work and his new treatment is $10,000 a month. Yes, you read that right. It is a new pill for his type of cancer. Very expensive. And the meds to help with the sores in his mouth was over $4,000. I pray that your sister has a very successful fundraiser and successful treatments too! If we weren't in the same boat I would donate to help out. Hugs, Brenda
Cute! Cute!! what a fabulous Idea and great work your sister did!!
Our daughter was also dx with non Hogskins and she just completed her 2nd stem cell transplant (her younger brother was her match) This has been a 20 yes! 20 year ordeal.. Many prayers and Blessing for your sister...
I am sorry to hear about your sister. She did an amazing job with the album. What a cute idea. Makes me want to go to yard sales this weekend and look for DR. Seuss books myself. I would I guess if I had small children. TFS> ana
