My craft room remodel continues to teach me patience. We finally got the cabinet problem solved and are now waiting for the carpet. I still have craft supplies in three different rooms but hopefully I will be in my room soon.
A special thanks to my husband who has put in long hours to finish this project. And I am so grateful to the expert cabinet installer who finally came up with a workable solution. Needless to say, we have learned many lessons along the way.
I love this idea of using a tension rod to store tape and ribbons and I am off to the store to give this a try.
To date, I have tried three different label makers and love the Brother PT-1880 one from Costco. In fact, I love it so much that I am going to make a video as soon as I am back in my craft room.
The price is $27.99 and comes with the following:
- 1 - 0.47" (12mm) x 26.2' (8m) Black on White laminated "TZ" tape
- 1 - 0.70" (18mm) x 26.2' (8m) Black on White laminated "TZ" tape
- 6 - AA batteries, user's manual
I have made over 210 labels and love this machine! It even comes with batteries. And even after 210 labels the batteries are still working!
Thank you so much for your continued patience and I hope to be able to get back to crafting soon! I can’t wait to share the after photos with all of you.
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

The tension rod seems like a great idea. Can't wait to see your room.

I have that label maker and love it too! Sometimes Costco puts it on sale, I got mine last summer for $19.97 (I think, it was less than $20). I have yet to have to change the batteries. The one at the office is an older version, I like it a little better but I've used it for 8 years and I've changed the batteries once in it!
I love the tension rod idea as well!
Looking forward to seeing your new craft room Linda! These tension rods are great for so many things. Hugs, Brenda
