Thank you for all your wonderful emails, comments, prayers and support for my sister Di.
My sister Di is recovering from abdominal surgery. Her lymphoma is in remission; however she now has stage two ovarian cancer. Di is home and she will start chemotherapy in three to four weeks, depending on how fast she recovers from surgery. She was in surgery for seven hours, therefore her recovery will take time.
This is a photo taken from the family room at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
Everyone at the hotel and hospital were very kind to us while we were there. Bill and I are so grateful that we got to spend time with my sister and her family. She is a fighter and has a good outlook.
Thanks again for all your support and I so missed all of you.
Happy New Year.
