More Vacation Photos

I'm busy working on projects, so I am sharing a few more of Bill's pictures from our recent trip.

We had never been to Mt. Hood in Oregon, so we decided to visit it on the way back to Montana. It did not disappoint and it is an amazing area.

Mt. Hood has snow all year long, so there are multiple skiing and snow boarding camps going on in the snowy areas you can see above.

We were on schedule to be back home a couple of days early and decided to take a  detour to Glacier National Park to check out the wild flowers. The Going-to-The-Sun Highway is always spectacular and it did not disappoint. Above is the falls on Haystack Creek. The road goes through the middle of the picture.

Waterfall at the Weeping Wall turnout.

Mt. Oberlin

Wildflowers near Many Glacier.

Wildflowers with Lake Sherburne in the distance.

Swiftcurrent Lake.

Glacier National Park is beautiful, but is sometimes dangerous. This a cinnamon  black bear digging up grubs near Many Glacier.  Glad we had a 400 mm lens to use.

More stunning views! I love seeing the west coast like this. Bill sure does know how to take fabulous pictures Linda. I think if I close my eyes I can feel some breezes and hear the water falling. Just gorgeous and I love the photo of the bear, so glad you were far away. I had a black bear come walking out of our corn field a few years ago and he seemed indifferent to us, but don't want another one to come walking out anytime soon! Thanks for sharing these stunning vacation photos with us! Hugs, Brenda
