Create Your Own Decorative Edge Anna Griffin Die

I love Anna Griffin and buy lots of her products. I did not purchase her Cuttlebug™ Decorative Border Die Set and decided to create my own cut using my Cricut Explore Air.

I sized the Cricut Vintage Wedding Vintage Lace Doily (# MC8A98A) to 7 inches. Next, I ungrouped the image and drew a square and used it to slice the doily to 2 ½ inches by 7. Then I welded a 7 x 1 1/2 inch rectangle to the doily.

I scored the rectangle at ½ inch from the decorative cut and wrapped it around the back of the card. I got my idea from Anna’s card that she made using her decorative edge dies. I love how my matchbook card turned out.

I added flowers from my stash and an Anna Griffin Sentiment and was done. My finished card is 7 x 5 inches.
