I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards and projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.
A few months ago, Jennifer McGuire did a post on rethinking die cuts that was amazing! I am continuing to rethink some of my Cricut cuts.
Last week, I made a card using an image that I cut out of card stock. For this card, I used my Cricut to print the sentiment on a piece of card stock and then I cut the house (Folk Art House #M81C2971) from white card stock. This time, I am only using the outline of the house. I added foam adhesive squares for dimension and backed the house with a piece of card stock from my stash. I saved the white cut out house and will be using it on my next card. I added a few inside pieces to my card for added interest. I also added a sequined heart.
I will photograph the remaining card and post it too in the coming week. I love how I made three cards using a half of sheet of paper from my stash and one image.
Have a wonderful day!
