Make it in Minutes Monday and Happy 2019!

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards and projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them. One of my goals for 2019 is to spend more time creating. I have really missed crafting and I am looking forward to creating more projects and videos.

We received so many lovely gifts, so I really need to make thank you cards. Below are a couple from amazing designers that you might want to try.

This card from Olga is gorgeous!



She is so clever and I love the see through lattice. You could change the sentiment to make this a lovely thank you card.

We are in the middle of a blizzard and this card from Norine reminds me of spring!

Cricut Maker Felt Coasters

I just had to try cutting felt with my new Cricut Maker and I was so impressed. Felt cut like butter.

The green, orange and white felt is from Cricut and the yellow felt was purchased at Hobby Lobby.

I used the regular felt setting for the Cricut felt and the regular plus setting for the Hobby Lobby Felt. All the felt cut perfectly.

I used Aleenes’s felt and foam tacky glue instead of the recommended Heat N' Bond iron-on adhesive. It worked perfectly. This was my first ever stitching on felt and I clearly need more practice!

This was such a fun project that I may make some for Christmas gifts!
