Lori Whitlock Creative Team August Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Lori Whitlock Creative Team August Blog Hop! You should be arriving from Lorrie's blog or you can start from the beginning of the hop at Lori Whitlock’s blog.

I made these adorable favor boxes using three of Lori’s cutting files and paper from my stash.

I used Lori’s Bird Favor Box file to make this cute and simple favor box. I love the way my Silhouette Cameo cut the glitter paper. I set the blade to 8 and did a double cut and it cut like butter!

I made this charming favor using Lori’s Frog Favor Box. Lunabelle, my good friend’s three year old has informed me that this is her box! Now I need to purchase some goodies to put in it!

These boxes are perfect for table decorations, gifts or party favors. The Owl Favor Box is my favorite.

In honor of today’s hop, Lori is giving everyone a free SVG download on her blog here.

Lori is also offering 30% off of all shapes and fonts in her shop through Monday, August 18th when you use the promo code “Autumn”. Be sure to visit her shop to see all the new goodies she has created!

There is  also a 30% off sale at Snap Click Supply today only!

Be sure to check out all the other inspiring projects at my fellow teammate’s blogs and leave them some love. Stacy is your next stop in the hop.

Have a great hop!

Robin’s Creative Cottage Blog Hop!

Welcome to Robin's first "Stamp Release Celebration" blog hop! Normally, you would see Fab  Five Friday here, but this week, I'm participating in the blog hop.

Each Design Team member will be featuring an original project that includes one of the two new stamps sets available today for purchase on Robin's blog. If you've come from visiting Kimberly’s blog, Kimberly’s Crafty Spot you're in the right place! If you would like to play along with our "Stamp Release Celebration" from the beginning, start HERE.

I am also excited to announce that thanks to Robin, I am giving away the Snowman’s Prayer stamp set. To enter, you need to be a subscriber/follower of my blog. You can sign up over on the left side of this blog (if you are not there already). Just leave a comment on this post and the winner will be announced on Tuesday November 22.

For my project today, I used the Gingerbread Holiday Stamp set.

I cut two 5.5 layers and used the glue and fold method to make the base card. To see a video on three ways to make a shaped card, please click here. All layers were cut at 5.5 inches.

I hand cut a backing out of beige paper for the windows and added pearls. Super fun and easy card!

For the inside of my card, I used an adorable stamp from the Gingerbread Holiday Stamp set. You are going to love this set for making Christmas projects! The stamp worked perfect with my Spellbinder dies!

Recipe:
Cricut “Wrap it Up” Cartridge
Robin’s Creative Cottage “Gingerbread Holiday” Stamp Set
DCWV " Christmas and Winter 180 Stack "
Staz On Black Ink
Pearls from my stash

Remember to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration along with an amazing giveaway. Each blog will have one of Robin's stamp sets as a giveaway for one lucky winner.

Happy Earth Day and Happy Birthday Gaby Blog Hop

First things first, Happy Birthday Gaby and Happy Earth Day! Welcome to my blog and to Gaby’s Blog Hop. If you want in on the fun and prizes make sure you start with Gaby! If you arrived from Melissa Made you're on the right track.

I love Butterflies and could not think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day and my friend’s birthday than to make a cute butterfly card!

I used the Cricut Florals Embellished cartridge and Design Studio to make this adorable butterfly. The butterfly image is located on page 64 of the manual.

To make the card, I welded two shadow images together. Next I cut all the layers at 3¼ inches. Lots of layers, but super easy to make. First, I attached the black shadow to the base card and then attached the light green piece to the black piece. I attached the remaining layers, added glitter and pop dotted to the black layer. I love how sweet this card is, just like Gaby!!

Your next stop is Abby from Scrapabookaholic by Abby.

Hope you enjoy the hop and have a Happy Easter!
