I am so addicted to SCAL. This card was designed using a free file from SVG Cuts. Click here for a link to the free birthday cake file. Be sure to check out all their great products!

I love this card. Are there directions anywhere on how to make the cuts and folds?

Thank you!

If you go to YouTube and search "shutter cards" or "trifold cards" you'll find instructional videos. The basics are this: cut a piece of cardstock at 5 1/2" x 12", then, with the 12" side across the top, score at 2", 4", 8" and 10". Turn cardstock so that the 5 1/2" side is across the top of your trimmer and put your blade at 1 1/2" from the edge. Cut a slit ONLY from your 2" score line to your 10" score line - NOT all the way down the length of the card! Repeat on the other side. Accordion-fold along your score lines, then reverse your folds for the center horizontal section. Decorate and send!
