It's a Girl

Posted by Picasa

I am going to a baby shower this Saturday and wanted to make a cute baby girl card. For this card, I used the Scallop Shapes SVG Collection from SVG Cuts. I cut two large scallops at 5¼ inches and welded them together to form the base of the card. I cut the medium scallop at 4½ and the inside circle at 4 inches.

The G was from the George cartridge and cut at 3¼ inches.

If you do not have the SCAL program, Storybook Cartridge has a couple of different scallop cuts and a circle cut, as does Mini Monograms. You could use Design Studio or the Gypsy to weld the large scallops to form your base card. I have not tried the scallop circle cuts from Storybook, but I will soon.

The flowers are stickers that I have had for some time. You could also use the George Cartridge to make a cute flower. Lastly, I added pink rhinestones and the card was done.

Have a great week and stay tuned for an interesting new video!
