Cute Kitty Card Using Photographic Matte Paper

A special thanks to all of you for your encouragement and support. I have received so many comments and emails congratulating me on being selected for the Creative Critterz Imaginations Design Team.

Today I want to share with you my initial post, in case you missed it, along with a big thanks for all your kind words! I am truly blessed to have such wonderful viewers.

For this project I used the Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge and the Nursery Tails Imagine cartridge. Kitty is cut at 5.5 inches and I used all the layers including the shadow feature. The fun thing about this card is that you can make it with your Cricut. The only difference will be in your choice of papers.

The Imagine makes it so easy to quickly match prints and solid digital papers. One of my favorite things about the Imagine is that you can change the look of your cards by simply using different type of papers.

In the video below, I include examples of cards made with regular white card stock, photo glossy paper and photo matte paper. I also demonstrate how to make the Kitty card and how to use photographic matte paper in the Imagine.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

What a gorgeous cat! I love those papers you've chosen - and you are so right about changing the look of a card simply by changing the colours or papers. I think your paper choice is perfect here though!!

Wow, Linda! I am going to have to put that photo paper on my list next time I'm at Costco. Thanks for the step by step tutorial on the kitty card - I'm not really a cat person but that cut is so stinking cute!
