Today I want to share with you my design project for Creative Critterz Imaginations blog.
Can you believe it? Only one week until Christmas Eve. I am busy wrapping gifts and making a few last minute tags like the one below. I am so thankful that my Imagine makes the task easy! I also used a fun new product called Wobbles that add movement to my card! I so wish you could see it move!
First I cut a 2.8 inch circle using the stock circle shape and flood filled it with digital paper from Snow Angels. I then cut a stock scalloped shape at 3.2 inches and flood filled using the same cartridge. The stamp is from my stash and I colored it using watercolor pencils and a fun technique that I posted on my blog a couple of weeks ago. Just in case you missed it, I thought it might be helpful to post it again. This technique makes your regular and water colored pencils look like expensive markers.
Recipe:
Snow Angels Imagine cartridge
Rubber stamp from Great Impressions
Signo uni-ball pen for white dots
Ribbons from my stash, dimensionals, glitter glue, and adhesive
Thanks for visiting and Happy Holidays!

Thanks Linda and welcome!!!
Your tag looks beautiful, Linda! Haven't played with my CI in a while, but maybe after the holidays I'll have more time. I'm gonna have to take a second look at that Snow Angels CI cart though....
:)Melody
I love my Snow Angels cart and I so want to buy the Yummy one. Do you have it?
Linda, I love your tag. Are you ready for Christmas? Today is my shopping day!
Sue
Linda, I don't have the Yummy cart but it's on my wishlist :) Been trying to use up my paper stacks first. BTW I went to Walmart last week to try to find that mineral spirits to try your colored pencil trick but they only had the big gallon bottle so I passed.
:) Melody
Thanks Melody! Sorry about the mineral spirits. A gallon would last a lifetime:) Good luck!
Sue, I just bought my last present! Yahoo! Hope you are having good luck.

What a great tag! I love the double ribbon you used. I've seen that done in a few places but have yet to try it myself. It certainly looks sharp! Great little image, too. I'm sure it looks absolutely fabulous with a wobble!!
Great tutorial on water colors and mineral spirits. I am just getting into this area. I use Copic markers, but I like the water color pencil idea. Thanks.
