Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Meets Audrey!

Today I want to share with you my design project for Creative Critterz Imaginations blog.

Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (TBBM) is one of my all-time favorite Cricut cartridges and Audrey is my favorite Imagine paper cartridge, so I just had to use them together.

I made this cute Valentine purse for my friend who loves pink and black. Did I mention she also loves chocolate?

I used the TBBM cartridge to make the purse and sized it using the fit- to-page function on the Imagine. The purse is flood filled with paper from the Audrey cartridge. I then added acetate behind the window, ribbon and rhinestones.

My favorite part, next to using my Imagine and eating some of the chocolate was making the rosette. If you missed my video last Wednesday on how to make rosettes, click here.

Recipe:
Audrey Imagine cartridge
TBBM Cricut cartridge
Acetate to cover window
Kaiser Rhinestones
Ribbon, buttons, and sticker from my stash
Homemade rosette (see video above)

Thanks for visiting and have a great week.

This looks so incredibly stylish, Linda! What a great pattern on the paper - and the black and white looks so sharp with the pink. Fabulous little candy purse!!

OH I need to watch that video for the rosettes. I saw that gorgeous card that you have with the pop outs (not sure the name of that type of card) I am supposed to be able to make them with my crafter's companion but have not figured that out yet!!! I have surgery on March 15 and can't move for two weeks. I will watch that dvd over and over and everyone's blog videos and learn all these things!!

This is one of my favorite bags from TBBM but that rosette just makes it. I will have to try this one for Valentine's day. TFS

So darn cute. I never bought that cart but I think I can make a similar purse from the Forever Young cart. I love your choice of paper and colors.

Would you mind explaining in more detail how you combine an original cart with an imagine cart. Can you do it with the gypsy? Do you have to have a patter cartridge or could I do this with the Imagine more cartridge? Sorry, I'm a dummy but you'd really save me a lot of stress if you could explain how you do it or point me to direction someplace else :-)
