Just joined your blog. What a cute snowman card. My brother just finished putting shelves in my Scrap Suite today! I am so excited to read every ones tips as I am a organizational fanatic! For storing cricut cartridges I use the Snap-ware ribbon container and plastic canvas to make individual sections to store the cartridges. With two sets I can store 40 cartridges the books and overlays and my cricut tools. Instructions are found on YouTube

Hi Linda...I love how everyone is sharing their tips...they're all super. Mine are pretty boring. I just store like with like. Preferably in clear jars and clear containers. Punches are kept together split into border, corner and shape punches. I have an addiction to my Pea touch labeler...this helps. I keep all my Cricut books and overlays in photo boxes alphabetically...the actual carts are sorted into bags labelled-a-b-c. This works great...I usually use my Gypsy so I tend to just use the books. The best tip is to clean up after each project...just a few minutes saves a lot of time searching for the items buried in a pile of paper. Lastly...I used to keep every little scrap of paper. Now I keep pieces only if they are at least 4". Lee-Ann :)
The tip that works for me is...I have little tool bins that I separated all my Jewels by different colors and sizes in each drawer...that way I can pull what I want and not have to dig thru thousands of them...I have two of these....
A favorite organizational tool of mine is my desktop wooden carousel tool holder I bought from Hobby Lobby. I keep my ATG gun, scissors, cricut tools, tweezers, corner rounder, glue, etc. Everything is quite handy with a little spin. Everything has it's place and I know exactly where to find it. Loved your shaped cards that were featured on Everyday Cricut! You have amazing talent. TFS.

I just became a follower. I don't know what took me so long since I have visited so often.
My favorite craft tip is to save used cans (from dog food, soup, green beans, etc.). I take off the label, clean them out and then store like colored markers together. I collect so many different types of markers (sharpies, copic, crayola) that I got tired of hunting through each specific collection, that I just started storing them together in the cans. Thanks for the giveaway!!
I bought two portfolio cases (at Big Lots) that have a zippered closure and tab separators inside. I keep scrap cardstock in one and printed papers in the other. I sort them by color. Always have small pieces at hand that I go to before using a new piece of paper.

Found your great blog from Everyday Cricut. I use the pill holders to hold different brads, eyelets and small embellishments. You only need to open one compartment so you avoid accidental tipping over a whole "fishing tackle" tray. And they are cheap at the $ store. I love your cards.
My favorite tip is to pass on what you are not using. It helps to keep organized if you only keep what you love. Also keep your cutter, cricut, stamp cleaner and atg handy!
I love to organize! My ribbon is hung on wood rods by color and my scraps are in drawers by color. But my scraps could use some help. lol Congrats to you, love your blog!

organizing is the hardest part for me.. i have to have things neat before i can craft and its really hard to keep everything neat. I am also currently not working in my craft room but normally.... i keep all of my loose leave paper in paper holders (the ones that stand up and are like 3 pockets hard to explain i guess), i keep my solids in cubes that stand up so that the paper is standing on its smallest side not laying flat, i put my finished pages that are needing pics in cubes that go the opposite way... pics are in a pic container from Michaels. In a plastic drawer system i have stickers in one, embellishments in another, cutting supplies and adhesive/refills in another. I also have one for separating my categories of scraps.. disney in one, baby in another, wedding in another etc etc. Thanks for the chance to win

I love your blog, congrats on all the hits. My favorite organizational tip is for ribbon. I got some cheap plastic gutters from Home Depot and put them on my wall, most ribbon spools fit perfectly in them.

Well I just love this tip! You are a fabulous Guest Designer too! Love those shaped cards. OMG! Awesome!

One of my favorite organizational tips was OkieLady's cuttlebug folders. I couldn't wait to incorporate that idea into my craft space. It really makes it easy to find the perfect embossing folder in a timely manner.

Hey! So glad to have found your blog. Congratulations on all the hits!
I use photo boxes for everything small (stickers, stamps, ink pads, etc.), hanging file folders to sort scraps of plain colored paper, then huge ziplock bags for patterned paper scraps that are organized by paper pack.

New to your blog.. love it...hmmmm organizational tip....put it away after you use !! I have too many hobbies, scrapbooking, knitting, sewing, beading...yikes what a mess I make..I need all the tips I can get !!
My organizational tip is: I have 3 boxes made from plastic canvas...one is used to store cuttlebug folders, another is used to store small stamp sets and the third is used to store all other stamp sets. Each plastic canvas box was made to specified dimensions. Thanks for the drawing.

Linda, I came from Everyday Cricut and would like to congratulate you on your guest post. Your cards are super cute!!!! TFS!
I guess my organizational tip would be to use one design line for each album. That way, I can organize all the products that coordinate and minimize how much I get out or lug to crops and I can scrap much faster with everything ready to go. The leftovers can be kept together to make cards.
Love your cards Linda!! I'm in the process of moving my cricut and supplies from the dining room to my small bedroom. I found that photo boxes hold the cricut cartridges without much problem but scrap paper runneth over. I had them stored in 1 gallon ziplock bags by color but found that your ideal works better. Thanks for the great tip!! Keep up the great work
My favorite organizational tip is to store all my leftover paper scraps in accordian style file boxes, all my scraps are sorted by color.
Thanks for the chance to win.
Hi Linda,
I don't really have anything new that hasn't already been posted but I do use a lot of cup hooks to hang my tools from. This way they are handy to just grab and easy to put up.
I really do enjoy your blog Linda and I am very happy for you reaching such a milestone.
Hi Linda - GREAT blog! My organization tip is also my card stock left overs. I have a LOT!, so I covered a grocery banana box with wrapping paper, covered the paper with clear packing tape and then used legal size file folders tab marked for each color. The hanging file folders fit perfect and expand nicely for lots of left overs. Not as fancy as some, but it works for me :)
When I cut or try new things on my Cricut , which I do often, I put the whole peice together and use an expandable folder to save them all and then I have ready made embellishments at all times.
The only good organizational tip that I have is: Don't do anything that I do lol. I'm deeply organizationally challenged, But thanks for the chance to win anyway!
Great idea for storing leftover scraps....much neater than mine thrown in a storage draw by color.
My organizational tip is that I use the picture storage boxes and my Letratag to label everything so I don't have to go on a massive search to find something.

I like to cut my scrap paper into pieces slightly smaller than a A2 card. I then pull out these scraps when I am making cards for Operation Write Home and I have my card fronts already to go.

Hi Linda,
I've been following along on your blog now for months so it's only fitting that I make it legal and become a follower for real.
I've learned so much from your videos. I found your blog over at the PC forum.
I have a few favourite organizational tips but right now I'm liking using my IPhone note app to organize what I have already purchased and to create a must have list. Like keeping track of what Tim Holtz inks I have or wish to have.
Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us.
I love my new scrapbook room, ie my son's old bedroom. I got the JetMax cubes from Michael's and love them. I organized the paper by color and event. I labeled each slot using a Dymo labeler. I put all the cubes together by myself and did all the painting, etc. too. Fortunately, Michaels had the cubes on sale the week I was redoing the room. :)
Loved your card on EC Linda! I have to store all my craft stuff out of my 3 yr old grandsons reach so I have all kinds of plastic storage pieces for everything! He can't open them and I can see what's inside at a glance! I also use a rolling bag I got from Costco to transport my Cricut to my classes I teach out of town! It fits everything I need from my Cricut... and then some!

Love your cards and your ideas Linda. Congrats on your hits! Thanks for a chance to win some great carts too -- these are a few that I don't have yet either.
One thing I do to organize my carts and booklets is to store them in the Artbins for cartridges. I have several of these and put the carts and books in alphabetically. I know where everything is when I need it.

My favorite organizational tip is that I use a nuts and bolts and screw organizer to store all of my embelishments by color coding each drawer and seperating by brads, flowers, etc. It's so easy to bo to the see thru drawer and pull out something in the color that I need to use.
I love your blog and all the wonderful cards I have just discovered. I will be checking back! My fav tip is to store my embossing folders in a photo box I found at Ikea. It is just the perfect width for them to stand up, I mark each folder with its name, then I cut a piece of cardboard with a tab on top that is just a bit taller than the folder. I emboss a piece of cardstock and attach it to the cardboard folder, so now I can see what each folder will look like embossed. Of course they are all stored alphabetically!
I organize my scraps of paper in large ziploc bags by color. This way I can quickly grab a specific color when I'm using my Cricut! I really enjoy your creations, thanks for the inspiration and the opportunity to win!

I love your cards. My organization tip is put stamps and tools in baskets. keeps thing in one place when looking for scrapbooking items. and to pick up after every project.
Eacosta@dc.rr.com
My tip for organizing some of my scrapbooking materials is using an old shoe rack, it has 4 shelves great for storing my brads in bead containers. I also have little metal buckets that I fill with paper flowers, metal embellishments. I have little metal boxes to store anything from glue to glitter practically anything you can think of.
Thanks for all the great tips on your blog!
Hi Linda,
Love your blog!
My husband had some large CD racks that he no longer used, so you guessed it - Moved them into the craft room and now I store my Cricut cartridges on them. They are the perfect depth. The shelves move up and down so I am able to adjust them to fit the cartridges standing up like books in a library. It's a wonderful thing.

Congrats on your Blog Celebration! I'm a subscriber and enjoy your tips and videos. My tip is for storing the small items in our crafty stash. I tried different sized plastic bins or leftover wipe containers, etc, in my larger cabinet unit, but I just purchased the Alex from Ikea and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Mine is the small white one and it fits perfectly under an Ikea table I have in my craft room, and now all my brads, glitter, stickers, chipboard embellies are all organized in this one unit. Thanks for a chance to win!

I use 67 Iris 12x12 containers to organize my 12x12 paper and matching embelishments, etc.
My solid paper is divided by colors.
My design paper, stickers, borders, and asst embelishments are divided by theme... Christmas, baby, beach, vacation etc. And divided by color themes. I used a Dymo label maker to label the containers so I can see at a glance what is stored inside them. I know, I know I am in therapy for my addiction to crafting items. lol
DMcardmaker (new email follower)
My favorite organizational tip is using jewelry display trays with inserts to keep all my larger brads, buttons, letters, metal, you name it organized neatly and ready to grab. I also use the jewelry round containers to store my smaller brads and such also kept in the trays. Very cheap to buy and they all fit perfectly into a set of ikea cabinet drawers I got. Love it!! Makes finding those items quick and easy.
I purchased clear plastic poster frames and store mu wooden stamps in them. I can store many of these trays on shelves placed close together. I purchased laminated shelving from a lumberyard. I made a a shelving unit using adjustable shelving.
I have an inventory binder that I stamp each stamp, punch, ink pad, and all supplies in. I take this to conventions, or where I might purchase supplies at. New purchases are not put away until they are written in the binder. I keep a condensed version in my purse so I can refer to it when I am running to the craft store. Prevents purchasing duplicates.
I follow you and congrats on your viewers.
My spools of ribbon are slipped onto the cardboard tube on a pants hanger from the dry cleaner. It's easy to pull the wire out of the end and then put it back. It is not necessary to remove the spool each time you use it. Loose pieces of ribbon are on a wire hanger fitted with a dozen or so clip-type clothespins, one for each color family, width or style of ribbon. They hang on the pole in the craftroom closet.
love your blog. i use one of them closet shirt organizers to store my 12x12 stacks. it works great. it Velcros over your rod in a closet and mine has 6 shelves and holds the 12x12 perfectly.
thanks for chance to win
im also a follower

Linda,I always love reading your blog. Thanks for the chance to win.
I use baseball card 8 1/2 by 11 protective sleeves in a binder for my mini clear stamps and I organize them by theme. I add a stamp piece of paper to each "pocket", so that I can easily find where a stamp goes or identify which stamp is missing from the empty pocket.
I am a follower, and my organizational tip is that when I buy new paper stacks I take the front cover off, use a post it note to keep track of it alphabetically and I keep all of my covers in a notebook together, so that I can see what I have without having to rumage around in all of my cardstock when I want to look for inspiration.
I'm already a follower! I love your projects and ideas! Your paper scrap books are such a great idea!
My favorite organization tip is one I found a while ago. I keep a file box with hanging file folders labelled by color. I keep my scrap cardstock pieces in there, saving me from having to waste an entire piece of cardstock to make cuts with my Cricut. I need to clean it out of some of the smallest scraps, but it definitely works for me! Thanks for the chance to win these awesome cartridges!
I'm always amazed at seeing images used in new ways on carts I own such as the pop up pumpkin and adorable snowman.
Love the techniques. TFS.
My best organizational tool is the Pampered Chef Tool Turn a Bout. For paper the clear 12*12 boxes that others are talking about on here and KIDS! lol, they create with my scraps.
My organization tip is to get the CD/DVD binder pages and put in binder for my stamps also put a piece of Velcro on flap to close. I have them seperated by brand. So easy to find which stamp you want
Kwillis_15 at yahoo dot com
My organization is still a work in progress. I just moved into a new room in our house and so I'm looking for good ideas.
I cut a swatch of ribbon off each new ribbon roll and staple it to a 1x1 piece of paper. I then punch a hole in the paper and put it on one of those rings that snaps open/closed and hang it on a hook. That way I have all my ribbon on hand without having to keep it out in the open.
I store my scraps in clear page protectors organized by color. It's easy to find what you are looking for. Love the other tips!
I have a tip for organizing cricut cartridges, the overlays and the booklets. I do not own a Gypsy therefore I have juke boxes. I place my overlays and booklets in a plastic box (which is the approx size of a shirt box) which I purchased at Target. The overlays and booklets are tagged by letter and number. My jukeboxes have letters, example box A has a place for six carts. Therefore the box is labeled A (I have six so two towers with three stacks). The overlay and booklets correspond with the box the cart is plugged into, example A1, A2 A3 so on...so easy to find the overlays and booklets and know which cart is where in the towers.
It has been so fun reading some of these comments. For me, I would say labeling where everything belongs has been most helpful in keeping my things organized. That, and I try and keep everything in it's own work area, ie carts with Cricut, Dies with my Big Shot, etc
Love everyone's tips:) I am a orginization nut! Can't help it:) Anyhoo, for my cardstock I found a 10 drawer cart on wheels. Each drawer is 12 X 12. Finally a way to store my cardstock scraps by color!! LOVE IT! I was wasting so much time hunting for a certain color. Now so easy. Even though Creative Memories has stopped making this particular product (12 in deco file) you can still find them on ebay. I keep all embellishments in those and it helps tremendously!! Thanks, for the giveaway and your wonderful website:)
Your ideas are fantastic! Please keep them coming! My husband just set me up a new craft room and still trying to organize an awesome steal of a deal on lot, I really mean LOTS of scraping stuff. So I am really loving all the organizational ideas. Thanks for the chance to WIN!!!!!!!!!!
I am new to Cricut and your blog. Great cards!
My tip: I use a kitchen pantry storage thing to store my cartridges. It is thin and has 4 shelves. It hangs on the back of the closet door in my studio. They sell them at Lowes.
Good morning,
My favorite organizational tip is the organizing of my cricut cartridges. I bought a Snapware container with 3 large boxes, 1 medium size and 1 small. The medium one has a plastic mesh type divider which will hold 40 cartridges. I have the three large ones and have the mats and books, banded together and in alphabetic order. I also arranged the cartridges alphabetically. I have marked the FRONT of each so when you open it to use all are in the correct order. After I have cut out items, I place them in the smallest ones until I need them. All very organized and saves much time.

Great tip! I may give it a try!! A good way to organize paper is to use those big flat rate boxes from the post office and you can glue them together paint them to look nice, stack them or whatever. Best thing is they are free!!

Great tip. I see a bunch of scrap booklets in my future!!
I like to use lots of embossing powder or paints when I scrap. They are all stored in plastic snap together boxes I picked up at the dollar store. Labeled paint or embossing powder etc. Then I have on hooks attached to my workstation key rings that have tags with a sample of the paint or embossing powder on it with the name of the color and the product. I can then search thru the ring rather than have to pull out the box to see if I have what I want if not I can take the ring to the store to shop without any worry of purchasing duplicates.
I love the tip for organizing papers. That is GREAT. Thank you so much for sharing.
My tip is about Spellbinders and other metal dies. I was overrun with them. I finally put them on magnet strips attached to cardstock and put into clear page protectors. These are kept in a loose leaf binder with a zipper to keep anything from falling out.
You can see pics on my blog. http://carol-scrappininparadise.blogspot.com
Thanks,
Carol
So many great ideas to store scraps of paper. I hate to toss them so I keep them in 12x12 clear scrapbook boxes. I am so glad I found this blog!
Hi, Linda,
Just joined your blog today. Love the ideas you have. I have one that I uss all the time. The clear sheet that protects the Cricut mat is my tip: I placed a scrap piece of paper on the top side of the clear sheet, that way I always place the "clean" side down as the top side of the protective sheet gets "dusty" and then transfers to the mat. This way it helps to keep the Cricut mat clean and can be used for a longer period of time.
I love your Hello Kitty Christmas card! It is darling. My organizational tip is to use a canvas craft organizer that rotates with all of my adhesive and tools in it. As I work I can rotate it and grab whatever I need.
I seem to have an over abundance of "part-sheet" solid color cardstock--way too much to put into a folder. So I now have sorted it by color groups (pink/red, yellow/ orange, gray/black) etc into large plastic bags from scrapbook club kits, standing upright in a wooden box, making it easy to see at a glance the sizes & shapes, making it more likely for me to try this first before reaching for a new sheet. Also, I am always copying/sketching card ideas and card sketches found from all the lovely websites I follow. I purchased a few spiral art drawing notebooks- $5-$7 at drugstores or office supply stores- have put category tabs on the pages and adhere the sorted samples for quick reference.
Hi Linda, Just joined your blog today! I try to keep myself organized as best I can, I used to keep my cricut carts in ribbon containers that they sold in Michael's but I got so many that it was hard to get to the books so now I'm converting over to a 3 ring binder with sleeve protectors made for money collectors. I can't take credit for this one I found it online on youtube. Love it!
Great ideas can't wait to try them.I recycle plastic boxes that have seperated comparments and store brads and ribbon and you see whats in them and easy to transport when scrapping away from home!
I am a new follower to your blog. I love it. My organizational tip is this: I have a small accordian folder for my nestibilities. I have them separated by type (ovals, squares, etc) and in ziplock bags to keep them together. I also put them on flat magnetic sheets so I can see them in the bags.
Thanks for the chance to win these cartridges. I don't have any of these and would love to add them to my collection.

Well I am not the picture of organization but I think what has worked most recently for me is adding velcro on the bottom of my stickels and on the bottom of my embellishment center and it is very easy to hang them upside down under the shelf. Makes them easy to find because they are always where they need to be (when I put them right back after using them) :) Cpngrats on 250000 hits!
My tip is that I make a copy of each stamp set I purchase and file the copy in a binder that is catagorized by company. Now i just have to flip thru a binder to see the stamps I own:)
I'm a new follower. My fav organizational tip is for punches. I have Rubbermaid containers to store my punches in and on the outside of the containers I have placed & taped with clear packaging tape what images of the punches that are in each container. I have holiday theme containers for: Valentine's Day/Love, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I also have other containers for: animals, edge punches (ones that do not fall into the other categories) flowers, food items, etc.

Hi Linda, I store all my clear stamps in cd cases and place them in a cd storage box!
Great idea! I have put a sticker on the sides of all my stamping pads so when they are stacked I can see the colors of my inks without handling each one. It has made stamping much easier!
What a great blog you have. I love your work and all the tips that you've got everyone giving. I'm learning so much! Your idea for the little scraps books is fabulous. I'll have to try that. I'm not the most organized person. So my advice for organization is very limited. I did take my embellishments and organize them in see through 12x12 boxes that are labeled by themes, like birthday, Christmas, family, etc. Thanks for a chance to win those fantastic cartridges.
Congrats on you many hits and such great tips from everyone so far. I love to keep my clear stamps in CD cases. I lable each case with name and maker, then organize them by make and holiday. Hope this helps someone. Thank you for the give a way.
Loving your work as guest designer at Everyday Cricut! My organizational tip is photo album boxes. I use them to stash my inks, ribbons, blocks, stamps and embellishments. I label the front so I know what is inside and able to get to my stuff quickly.
Thanks for the great giftaway and CONGRATS!
Love your blog and these organzing and tips are great! My tip would be to organize your embellishment and paper by season or event. For example, I have a seperate box for Christmas, one for Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter, etc. Have bins for solid paper, pattern paper, holiday, birthday, etc. This way what ever I am working on I can just take the bin/box for what I need.
Thanks

Hi ... great blog! My favorite organizational crafting tip is my peg board. I have 3 of them above my craft table and hang some tools, stickers, etc. and I also have peg shelves and baskets attached to them instead of shelves.
I have a small longaberger basket that I use for small tools, I can stand them up easily ...scissors, ruler, oval and circle shapes, brad setter, etc. all within reach!
Bins and Binders, it's as simple as that. Clear bins, bought when on sale. One holds stamps, one for inks, one for embellishments, etc. each bin labeled accordingly. Binders hold clear plastic pages with an open top and items like paper leftovers, sorted by color per page, another binder holds dies, another embossing plates, etc. Each binder labeled accordingly and all put on shelves.
Linda, I just love your cards - very graphic and I like that!. Thanks for everything.
Hi Linda,
I like to store my embellishments in small silver paint tins. They have a handle so I can carry it over to my project. It is not so deep that they get lost either. Thanks for the chance to win those wonderful cartridges! I follow Everyday Cricut, but will follow you too!
Great cards today on everyday cricut! Love your zebra/brad shape card :)
My orgaizational tip is using photo boxes for storage - for expample I have two that store, blank cards and envelopes (some were purchased from Michaels while some are handmade) as well as one that stores card for various ocassions, with matching envelopes (I always make a matching envelope even if its just to add a liner to a premade envelope) I use the dividers that come with the boxes to sort the blank cards by size and pre-made cards by ocassion
Show boxes - come in a variety of sizes to fit all sorts of bits and bobs. ps It also gives me more crafting to do - I can't leave the boxes unlabeled and ugly! :)
Hi there! Coming over from Everyday Cricut! Love your stuff :) my tip is for scrapbook stickers. I have so many that I use an accordion file pouch and store them by holiday/theme. Thanks!!
I am fairly new to scrapbooking, so I am just building my supplies. But, I am a very organized person in general. I have a open shelved bookcase that I keep my things right in sight. I have divided trays that I use for exp: 1 for stamps and inks, 1 for ribbons and embellishments, 1 for tools, etc. The shelves are adjustable so I can get the most out of each section of the bookcase.

Great tip for scraps! I use a binder with clear page protectors to store my solid CS scraps sorted by color. TFS joy4umetoo at hotmail dot com
This is an awesome site!! I am new to your blog! My organizational tip is to grab a clear page protector and create a "kit" for your layouts. Have your pictures you want to use and find paper to match. Then collect any embellishments that might work that you already have. If you don't have enough, take this "kit" to the craft store to help with purchasing additional fun items to use for this page. This helps me save money by not overbuying or guessing at what might match or look good. This is also great if you scrap away from home so you have everything you need to make the most of your time. Thanks everyone for your tips, it was so fun to read them all!!
Thanks for the tip because I have tons of scraps because I never throw out even the littliest square!! I love to watch how others do things because we can all get some ideas ourselves and utilize the idea sometimes in multiple ways. I would love to win any one of those cartridges so thank you for the chance!

I was forever looking through my pile of stickers and small embellishments so I got a couple of those fastener bins with the little pull clear drawers men use in the garage. now all my brads, nailheads, buttons, clips, little stickers, etc. are right there and are labeled for easy selection! They were cheaper than ones made for crafting too!
When I grt new stamps I immediately copy them (usually 2 sets to a page) and put them in page protectors by manufacturer. Then file file buy manufacture then buy alpha. I plug these pages in binders, with manufacturer tabs. Though I do have separate binders for mu Stampin' Up and Papertrey as I have so many of them. My loose stamps, I've stamped on sheets by manufacture and by theme then store on Dollar Store cookie sheets on thin shelves my husband made for me using just strips of wood to hold the shelves. These are organized buy theme. When I want to stamp something I just flip through a few binders. I also have binders for embossing folder, punches and dies. My friends say I am a bit OCD!! But they want want me to organize THEIR rooms!! I could go on and on but hopefully I helped someone!
What a great blog. I came over from Everyday Cricut. I store my card stock by color. I use the over the door shoe organizer for my punches and I use the 13x13 plastic containers for special subjects. Wedding-Baby-Birthday-Graduation-Holidays etc. I put the coordinating paper, stickers and other embellishments all together. When I am ready to scrap an event, I grab the photos, the container and coordinating card stock and I am ready to go.
Wow, all the wonderful tips for organizing. I am actually working on getting my scrap area organized today! Some of these tips are going to come in really handy for that. Thanks for all the inspiration!!!
Love reading all of these tips! I recently found a rolling cart with wire mesh baskets (Heavy Duty) from JoAnns college students organized section for 75% off and I love it, I have punches and chipboard and lots of goodies and I can see what is in every basket, if my craft room was larger I would have bought two! Thanks for all the wonderful tips on your blog. I store my leftover papers in several portable expandable filing folders. The tabs in each section are marked for the color. I mix both plain and patterned papers in each section. It's easy to just drop my unused papers in the appropriate section when I've finished a project. The larger pockets accomodate a variety of sizes and odd shapes. Since everything is upright, it's never hard to page through and find what I'm looking for. Thanks for a chance to win a really nice prize!!!
Where have you been all my scrapping life? LOL! Love these organizational tips! Found you through Everyday Cricut and God bless it! I repurpose zippered LARGE makeup bags for storage. They are usually rectangle and have a handle, making them easy to take with me to a crop.

Lordy, ladies and gents..you people have some great tips and boy, do I need them. I'm the only one here who is not organized. I need you!!! My paper is here..my stickles are over there..somewhere are my pop dots.. hehehe..anyone want a challenge?
Thanks..I have picked out three tips to start with..off to Michael's with coupon in my pocket.
p.s. Congrats on all those hits. Doin' something good there!

So happy to have found your blog!
My favorite organizational tip would be to use otherwise-wasted wall space whenever possible. I display my wood-mounted stamps on wall-hung shelves, paper punches are on curtain rods, brads and buttons are in magnetic canisters, and I have a wall of pegboard above my work table where I hang anything and everything. Using wall space frees up surface space, and I love having everything out in the open so I'm more likely to use it.
Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Hi there, I am a paper hoarder! Whew, there I said it! LOL I never throw out any paper ever. I have the wooden shelves units from Michaels that are organized nicely in a closet and my scraps all go into empty diaper boxes that I have lined up on the bottom shelf in my closet, that way my 3 yr old can play too without using up my good paper!
I organize my ribbon in one of those plastic shower caddies from Walmart (the white one with polkadot like holes). Pack all the ribbon rolls you can fit into 2 rows. Pull the ribbon through the closest hole to it - and it never unrolls until you need it!!!

Loving this blog!!
My tip is to buy a pack of small cork boards (mine are 4X4). I attached them to my wall above my computer, or your workspace. I then pin up a piece of paper to write down things I need to buy or have ran out of. I keep adding things on the list as I realize I need or want them. Then when I am heading out to the store I grab my list with everything I need and won't forget anything! I also try not to purchase anything that's not on my list to prevent having too many duplicates. This really has helped me keep my supplies in stock so I am never needing something I ran out of!!
My favorite storage sollution is using 3 ring binders with page protectors that where I put my stickers and certain embelishments. It makes it easy to flip though and find what I am looking for. Thanks for the contest and all the great comments.
Congratulations! My Daughter and I are new to scrapbooking/card making and were so excited when we found your blog. You have already taught us so much. I can't say at this point that we are organized however, were still learning. We have found that the cuttlebug folders store well in CD travel totes that we purchased at a thrift store. We filed them based on theme and now just have to flip through the pages to find the folder needed. My Daughter was asked if she could help make cards for her church and has recruited me to help. Since we are new, we don't have alot of supplies and would sure love to add to our collection with some new cartridges. We have purchased the cricut personal and a cuttlebug, and I must say, we are having so much fun. Were saving now for the cricut impression. We have also heard alot about the sillouette. Thanks bunches for sharing and I wish you much more success and HITS!
I have two containers that I store all my scraps in. I cut any leftover paper into 6 X 6 squares or something close to it. Those pieces are filed by color family in my Art Bin boxes. I keep them under my work desk. Great for using up those small scraps for mats or small pieces of Cricut cuts. I reused a travel jewelry organizer that hangs on the closet door for my miscellaneous ribbon cuts. I have a rotating spice rack that I use for my embellishments. I reused baby food jars to put my embellishments in so I can see them. I reuse the plastic baby food containers for other embellishments and stack them in my drawers.
Congrats on your stats! I love that you have everyone sharing their fav tips. Of course I lost most of yesterday morn and today reading them 'cause they are just so good! :) I'll just keep it to my two favs...my #1 lifesaver is my wall of pegboard. It is so adaptable to whatever your needs are and it maximizes my work surface. I have two 10ft shelves that run along top for my Cricut carts (I still like to 'see' my collection-HeHe), I have three expandable curtain rods holding my ribbon, and my glue gun, heat gun, tape gun and such have their own holsters that hook right into the peg holes at whatever height I want them. Nothing is too small or large to hook. Now I never bury my TweezerBeez or rulers under my project...instead of laying it down, I automatically hang it on it's hook. I can also put up any embellishment I might have just bought and want to make sure I use or a picture or something that might inspire a new project. It makes my DH happy because my area is so much neater now.:) I also mounted two powerstrips on the board that everything is plugged into. That way when I'm finished, I am sure everything is turned off with the flick of two switches. No more jumping out of bed to check that the glue gun is shut off!!! LOL #2 is the 'Clip It Up'. I've taken too much space already..sorry. I'll just say I hang all my emboss folders, Spellbinders, rhinestones, pearls, etc. on the three tiers and only have to give it a whirl when I need to find something...worth every penny. Cheers!

Hi Linda,
I love reading everyones tips. Thanks for doing this again.
Knowing how you like to work and adjusting your craft room to easily flow that way is my tip.
I have my most used items with in reach. All my paper stacks labeled and displayed by Vendor.
When I find plastic containers that work for me I buy multiples, this way I have room to grow
Hi Linda. My organizational tip for speciality papers is to file them in a square fabric basket. Categories are separated by white plastic record dividers (the kind used in record stores to divide records)and labeled with their topic (Christmas, Softball, etc.). They stay nice and neat and are at your fingertips.
I like to store and organize all my embellishments by COLOR, it doesn't matter if it's a brad, glitter or buttons. It's so easy for me to find and store things this way. If I'm doing a layout or making a card and I think it could use a little bit of embellishment I know were to find the perfect color of anything.
Hi Linda, Love your blog ! How I store my Cricut Cartridges and Books. I use velcro dots...to back of cart and front of book, I alternate from left to right side of the front of books. I also write on top of cartridge the Name of cartridge in a gel pen of your favorite color. I stand them in a bin so you can see the top of cart.
I also store my Cricut tool kit and extra blades in this bin. It's easy to carry to Crops. Cartridges are always On the Book!!! Thank you. Tah Tah
New follower to your blog! I use dollar store plastic shoeboxes to hold lots of different things and then labelnthe, with of course my Cricut!
Linda,
You make it look so easy!
My organizational tip is I like to save my decent sized scrap paper. I can't tell you how many times this has come in handy with scrapbooking to school projects! I save them in a 12x12 snap closure binder. You can get them pretty cheap.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas with everyone!
I love your blog. Your video's are wonderful! My favorite organizational technique for my stamps is: a stamp journal. I stamp all my images into an old school style scrapbook that has white pages. I stamp the sets as I get them so I can flip through them. I also label the pages to coordinate with the stamps they are stored in binders inside simple sheet protectors. Thanks again for your videos and all the inspiration!
I have three small notebooks that will fit in my purse. One is for listing my Cricut Cartridges, one for my stampsets and the third for Punches, sizzix dyes and Tim Holtz items. I do this because I have been known to "love" a product and buy what I already have. Yes I actually bought two Cricut cartridges. My daughter loves that cause she get the duplicates.
I organize my craft supplies by color. It makes it easy when I am making something to look in the appropriate color container. I do this for paper scraps, ribbon, buttons, brads etc.
slrdowney at hotmail dot com
to store my clear stamps I have them in a file box in page protectors. it takes up a lot less space than sticking them in a drawer, and they are easier to go through than a binder. You can do the same thing with CB folders or spellbinders too.
Baskets, baskets, baskets. I have baskets for EVERYTHING. Scraps, glue, glitter, twine... everything. They are pretty too. :)
amanda.rios@me.com
Congrats!!!! My favorite storage is organized, neat, and clean. I keep everything in closed closets and drawers. I use binders to store embosssing folders, and die cuts of all my sizzix. That way when I want to see what I have or need, it is all in a binder and all I have to do is turn the page. I also made a binder of all my templates, all binders are in closet shelf. All my cricut cartridges are stored in plastic drawers 5 high Total of 10,stacked on top of each other, saving space, all in alpha order in the drawers. I could go on and on. Part of the fun of crafts to me is organizng it.
I would have to say that my favorite organizational tip is my paper drawers. I have a full size dresser that I keep all my paper in....and it's ALOT! LOL! I sort it all into stacked colors and keep all scraps in clear color separated 12X12 containers. My pattern paper has a drawer system all to itself...I really have an issue with bying too much paper! LOL! Thanks for the chance to win such a wonderful prize!

Linda,
Love your site! I organize my scrap paper in an accordian folder by color. It has made me use my scraps much more and its so handy (keep it on the floor right below my crafting table). fluffychow2003@yahoo.com
Loved your paper scrap idea, never saw that before. I use the scrap paper savers, started with the colored ones the same color as the paper and stand them up in the shelf organizers on their sides. Found the paper doesn't curl as much and I don't have to dig under to get the color I want.
I like the idea for storing your small scraps, however, I have a lot of larger scraps I don't want to cut up. I bought a inexpensive plastic file box, put in hanging folders and organized my large scraps by color, ex. Black, brown, etc. works great for me.
ALSO, you can get the 10 drawer (size 12x12 drawers) at Sam's for just $29. The top is stainless and perfect to hold my cuttlebug, paper cutters, etc. Use drawers for my whole packs of paper by color, texture, glitter, &etc. Even have drawers for glue dots, sticks, etc. cuttlebug folders, etc. Great find! They and don't take up much room.
You have such an awesome blog!! I came over from Everyday Cricut and loved your crafts so I joined your blog. My tip is if you want to save the case that the cricut cartridge comes in, you can use the photo boxes that you see all the time for sale for half off at Hobby Lobby and other stores to keep your cases neat and tidy in them.

I have quite a few Spellbinders Nestabilities, and needed a better way to store and organize them. I bought a 5 x 7 inch postbound album, and I can store one set of nested dies and their picture label in each page of the album. The pages are open at the top, and I had to trim the the label a little for it to fit in the page. But they are all there in one album, and they are easy to find, and easy to use.
To store my scrap paper I have a file folder and anything less than 12x12 goes into it's color group folder. Thanks for the giveaway.
pcrusberg at aol dot com
I have all my clear and cling stamps in binders. I use the EZ Mount storage sheets and zip-up binders to make sure nothing escapes!
My favorite organizing method I have is for my paper scraps. I purchased 12 X 12 storage drawers (3 in one) at Hobby Lobby. I purchased 4 sets. Each drawer is specified for a particular color. Now when I need to find a certain color scrap for a project, I just go to that drawer. I am finding I am using up more and more of my scraps. I love it and wish I would have thought of it earlier!!!!
Please enter me into your drawing!! Thanks!
I just became a follower of your blog and enjoyed your video and how you store scrap paper. I organize my punches in a clear over the door shoe hanger. I don't have a lot of room and this keeps them out of the way.
true1947@embarqmail.com
My organizational tip would be to use up all those little pieces of pattern paper by using your punches on them. I have the button punch by MS and that works great on those small pieces of scrap. It's amazing to see how much paper we really throw out after a project.
Hi, just joined as a follower and I am enjoying reading everybody's tips. Mine is a freebie if you and your family are salad lovers. I take the large clear plastic containers from the baby lettuce or spring mix containers (11oz. - 16 oz. sizes), peel off the labels, wash them up and save them for all kinds or craft supplies. I am able to see thru all the saved bins--and I did not pay an extra cent for these handy containers! -Barb-
Hi Linda
Congrats on becoming a guest designer over at Cricut Everyday.
Love your sneak peek for the lovely snowman. Love the WW cartridge he was cut from.
I am a little reluctant to talk about my organizational tip, but here goes.
When I start a new project I like to take a low cardboard box like the ones soda pop come in. I put my scrap pieces in these boxes for storage and when done I store them on my bookshelves stacked on top of each other and sorted by color. It's easy to find scraps every time.
Hi Linda, I a am new to your blog and have had a great time reading all of the posts. I store my printed paper in 12x12 clear boxes sorted by color, and themes like Christmas and baby.I put all themed embellishments like ribbons and stickers in 12x12 as well. I just pull out the boxes and start crafting. Scraps are cut in to 4 X 5 1/4 pieces and smaller ones are sorted by color in zip lock bags.
I save the plastic that the cricut cartridges come in. I cut the flat part out and use it with my Big shot to emboss. Works great and you can also paint or marker them with markers to be a stain glass window for a card.
I also save my dryer sheets and use them as interesting overlays for card making. They smell nice too.

My favorite organizing tip is to use see-thru containers for all your supplies and then label each one (I use a Brother P-touch label maker for that). You'll spend alot less time looking for things and more time crafting this way.
My tip is for crop organization. I tend to overpack, so I create page packets using cropper Hopper tools.
Starting with photos, I select 2-3 matching printed and solid papers, then add any special embellishments. (Anything I forget can usually be borrowed.) All the packets go in a Paper Taker.

I have a clear vinyl shoe organizer hanging on the back of my craft room door. I labeled each pocket with the name of the edge punch and a sample of the punch so I can return the punch to it's proper spot. I keep my MS punch around the page punches in it, too. I've now run out of pockets, so I need to think up something different (or stop buying punches!)

One of my favorite organizational tools I have is a small shoe organizer that you hang on the back of a door except i have mine hung on the wall next to my crafting table. I store my scissors, pens, embossing tools, craft knifes, markers. It's nice that the pockets are clear I can easily see what is in them.
To organize my scrap stock, I use various sized plastic sleeves, usually meant for other things, in a 3 ring binder. For example the photo sleeves in 4x6 or 3x5 (and even the 8 1/2 x 11), mixed in with the trading card pages for the smaller scraps and sometimes embelishments.
I also find some really neat zip pockets that fit the binders in the calendar/portfolio section of Staples.
I like some of the suggestions I've seen here too. I need to put some more into play since things are taking over.
I use baskets with labels to organize my scrapbook stuff. They make my scraprqoom look neat and tidy and everything has a place.
I would love to win the cricut catrs. Thanks for the oppotunity! :)
Thanks for this opportunity for a chance to win. I store my cricut carts in photo boxes velcroed to the lid and book and overlays all fit nicely.
Hi I love visiting here, there's always great inspiration!
My best way to store all my brads & eyelets is from something that was given to my husband. He loves to fish, but didn't ever use this Plano organizer. It's got four
7"x10" plastic containers with the conpartments. They all slide into a canvas carrier that folds up & velcro closed. Really works Great! Holds all of them in separate conpartments and compact enough to take anywhere. Works for me.
Thanks. js2ts@yahoo.com
I have lots of little drawers and photo boxes! Paper scraps get put into a 12x12 drawer. My drawer is full so I have another set of 3 drawers and I'm dividing the paper up into reds, orange, yellows and greens, blues and purple, pinks, etc. I have all my cuttlebug stuff in one photo box, all my iRock stuff in another photo box, my ink pads are divided into drawers, etc. Thanks for the chance to win! I'm following now.

I like to use vintage containers for as many supplies as I can. It makes my studio look so cozy. For instance, all my CB folders are in a wooden tray in two rows. Easy to flip through. I store leftover snippets of ribbon in a basket. I use Mason jars for buttons and Yankee candle jars are wonderful for buttons, embellishments, tools, etc. All my everyday glues and products I use all the time are in a vintage sewing machine cabinet drawer right at my fingertips. I just love repurposing all these antique finds for the studio.

Love your cards!! One of the organizational tips I use is to keep a roll away tote filled with the tools, paper cutter, scor-pal, embellishments, inks, adhesives, basic colored cardstock, etc., I use the most for classes, crops and retreats. When I'm ready to go I just grab my tote and don't have to spend time looking for everything I need for the activity I'm attending. Works great. Thanks for the chance to win!

Congrats! Love seeing you over at Everyday Cricut this week. My craft room is a hot mess right now so it looks like there is NO organization, lol. But there is, honestly. I use the clear storage stacks from Michaels, there are 6 drawers that slide in and snap closed. If I drop one it doesn't spill all over. I really am re-doing my room and freeing up more room,,,,,,,for more goodies :)
I love your blog, I've gotten so many great tips from you. My organizational tip is that I organize by category within cabinets, subdivided into drawers. For example, I have a cabinet for stamping supplies, with a couple of drawers dedicated to ink and the others for the stamps. Not a very exciting tip, but it works for me.
lflinesatcomcastdotnet
I have enjoyed reading these comments and helpful tips. I will definitely be enlisting a few of them! my tip is something i recently did. I put an address label on the sides of my stamping pads, stamped with the color of the ink on the side of container. This way I can just look at the sides of the pads with out handling each one.
Loved your post over at everyday cricut! Such beautiful cards! My fav. organizational tip is to use art bin containers to hold all of my stamps, brads in the top two cases, inks in the very top and so on... Love having everything in one area! Thanks!
Lisa
Hi Linda
TFS your creativity and projects with us here on your blog and in videos. My organizational tip is that I store all my punches in hanging clear shoe holders that way I can see all of them and they are up on the wall out of the way when I don't need them each pocket holds 1 or more punch. Everyone who has been to my craft room just loves how I store my punches. I am a follower and a subscriber too. God Bless
When collect embellishments and cricut cut-outs for a scrapbook, I put them into a small photo album with see through sleeves. Then when I am ready to start scrapping, all I have to do is thumb through the album to find the perfect decoration for each page.
I just subscribed to your blog. My favorite organizaional tip is a peg board. My things are stored where I can see them and get to them easily. I bought some small buckets that hang from hooks at store my markers and adhesive, etc.
What great ideas! Thanks everyone! I store my paper scraps just in a clear plastic container. When I'm looking for just the right color I know exactly where all the goodies are and my granddaughters love going through it to use up my scraps. When the container gets too full I donate the contents to their Sunday School or the local pre-school who are always looking for goodies!

Great paper storage tip, this would be a great to swap with friends. I am new to paper crafts so I have been trying...to keep all my crafting supplies stored in 2 patterned boxes I picked up at Winners (Like Marshal's in the states)I have a very small apartment so I lack storage, so the boxes I chose look nice if you leave them out. I also hate when my ribbon unwinds so I like to put a small bit of adhesive on the end to keep them looking neat.

I organize paper-stickers/embellishments in the plastic envelopes per holiday/season/occasion this way whether I'm making a card or Scrapbooking I know where to go right away.
What a terrific blog!I will be using many of the ideas I've read here, starting with your idea for paper scraps.
I organize my clear stamps in small 6x8 3ring binders in CD pages. The binders are numbered. Then I have a journal book where I stamp all my images in binder number order. (I also punch an image with each of my punches and have these glue into the front pages of this journal. I can just take my journal book with to the store so I don't buy duplicates. I also can flip through the book and find my stamps faster.
For my cricut, I label the pages in my booklets. For example if you look at any of the font cartridges at the page that has the letter A, my book in the upper left corner says 3-1. That means on the overlay I will find the letter A in row 3, column 1. This is very helpful especially on cartridges like paper doll where many of the images on the overlay look alike. It takes a few minutes to label each booklet, but saves lots of time when cutting on my Cricut!
I like to use clear plastic containers so I can see my stuff....lol!!!!!
wyme98@yahoo.com
Great advice for storing paper scraps! Thanks for sharing.
One organizational tip I have is I like to use clear CD cases to store my clear stamps. This way I know what stamps I have and I'm more likely to use them on cards and layouts.
coupondenise at live dot com
I really don' have a craftroom or much space so it is difficult to put many of my ideas into action. I do like to make frequently used cutouts and store them in small plastic containers and label them.
I take small coffee cans with the lids and store my ribbon. I poke holes in the lid and pull the ribbon through. They hold about 5 rolls. Of course I have to decorate the cans. thanks for the chance to win and I enjoy your blog and ideas.
I print out the sample sheets of all my cartridges and store them in sheet protectors along with the receipt in case I ever need it. I am in the process of doing this will my cuddlebug folders too. Thanks for the chance to win and I'm looking forward to seeing everybody's tips!!

Hi, I am a new subscriber. Congrats on all the hits. I have a few ideas for organization, first off I just got myself a big storage unit it is a rolling tool sold at Sam's club. It has tons of small drawers for stamp storage and open shelves for bigger items like my cuddle bug and other cutters and it also has peg boards on the sides for hanging items. Like I said it is new and i hope that it will hold lots of items, but before I purchased it I used lots of baskets to store like items and also pottery pieces on my desk for my pens and pencils and small scissors. I also have industrial shelving units in my craft room and on those i use big baskets to hold items and have them labeled. I also use book binders to store all of my craft catalogs and books that I reference often. I keep scraps in clear folder so that I can see the colors. I try to keep things out in the open where I can see them , but organized as well because I am very visual and like to see what I have or I often forget. I am working more on getting things up and on the walls. I like the combo of the industrial stainless look (new-modern) with the organic and textural look of baskets and wood which give an old world appeal. So I have an old world meets modern look in my room which appeals to everyone, young and old. I also use old wooden type drawers on the walls for storage and displays, I collect them. Don't forget to use what you like, I have my pottery and my "antiques" right along side my industrial newbie items! ~Gin~
I came from Everyday cricut. I store my bakers twine in a glass sugar holder. The top has the small square flp top and several colors can fit through it and they are at hand and pull right out when I want to use it.
I am in the middle of remodeling my craft room and I have enjoyed reading all the great tips that have been posted. My best tip would be that I use ziplock baggies for small loose odds and ends and for storing cables and manuals.
I use different size baskets for scraps! That way you can use the right size for the right project and it keeps eveything neat!!!
Thanks
My organization tip is for my stamps. I use wicker cover baskets that are label according to the types of satmps (ex. birthday, greetings, christmas, etc.) They store perfectly above my crafting cabinets.
I love the chipboard cutouts - the ones that come on the 12x12 or 8.5x11 boards, but never know for sure what I have. So, I put them in page protectors and then place in the appropriate sized binders. The Cropper Hopper binders are excellent for the 12x12's and a regular 3-ring binder takes care of the 8.5x11's. That way, I can see exactly what I have, and if any of the pieces fall out, they are all together - nothing lost.
That is such a great idea. It would make a great happy to take to a crop for your fellow croppers. My organiztional tip is for the cricut cartridges. I use a craft box or a shoe box and take round velcro tabs. I attatch the cartridges to the top of the box and use the bottom for the books and keypads. Christy
I just came over from Everyday Cricut and I've surfed your site a little and wow! I'm now a follower. Your tip for organizing papers is amazing.
My tip is for storing unmounted or clear stamps. I keep them stuck to acetate sheets in a 3 ring binder and have them stamped on a page made of cardstock behind the acetate. That makes it easy to browse your stamps and just pick the ones that you want to use and the system is portable.
Love your site and this idea on organization contest. I purchased 2 expedite bookcases from Ikea and I have each cube with different things in it. Paper in one then tool turn about in another. It looks really cute. I connected two desk to them then in front of the desk I have a smaller expedite with more cubes. LOVE IT! Thanks for the chance to win. I'm glad that Everyday cricut sent us you! :)
Thanks for all your great card ideas! I've been inspired to try my hand at making my own Christmas cards this year!
Wow there are some great tips on here. For my paper scraps I use the clear scrapbook page savers and have them organized by colors and also by patterns. For my Cricut cartridges I bought a ribbon roll storage container (super cheap at 50% off plus an additional 20% coupon) and made dividers in the top part for my cartridges and the books fit in the bottom container. They stack together so it takes less space. Need to make another one though as that one is already full!
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE your idea for managing scraps. I'm going to try it.
Debbie G
I store all my punches in a Hanging Shoe bag on the back of the door in my craftroom. I freed up alot of drawer space, too. I store all my cardstock & scraps in individual stacking clear plastic containers.
debbieanng at yahoo dot com
Love all your tips and thanks for an opportunity to win the cartridges! I am a new follower.
This is how I orgainize and store my ribbon and twine. I store them in my Jetmax cubes (with dividers) from Michaels. I found this tip on the cricut messageboard and LOVE it. It is a super super space saver. I wrap my ribbon on 3x3 chipboard (I use the back of the paper stacks). Make sure you wrap it loosely so you don't have creases in your ribbon when you unroll it. I also use another drawer (with dividers) to store my scrap ribbon. This has saved me a TON of space and time. I am not sorting through all my ribbon to find what I need. I just open a drawer and I can see all the ribbon and colors. You can also wrap more than one ribbon on the chipboard. It is also a great way to show when you are running low on a color and need to buy more. I buy the clear (500 ct) hair bands from the dollar tree to hold the ribbon securely.
Please check out my blog for pictures! Thanks Linda for having this FABULOUS contest!!
Congrats on all your hits! One of the newest things I've done to organize is to put my clear stamps in baseball card sleeves in a 3 ring binder. This makes them easy to view and use.

My tip is for storing my scrapbooking embellishments. I buy those plastic shoeboxes and store my embellishments according to categories like vacation, baby, cats, holidays etc. That way I can just choose that container and have everything handy for whatever page I am working on. Robin Metzner (metzner324@verizon.net)
Peg Board! I have almost everything at my fingertips now on the wall above my table. I even hung wire shelves that hold spools of ribbon with the end hanging out for easy use without even having to remove it. I no longer lose my scissor and tape and such when the table is covered in project. By the way, I want to say I am so thankful for your blog and the inspirations I find here. Thank you!
Can't wait to read all of these wonderful tips. I have a file cabinet that I keep my paper stored in. I have a file for each color by the two main compaines I use and put the scraps in the file folder when I am done so I always see what scraps I have. When I am working on a project I pull out the file of each color I want to use.
I also just joined from everyday cricut. I am not very organized but have enjoyed reading all the many tips.
thank you
Congrats on your guest designer spot on Everyday Cricut. I'm really enjoying your posts there. When I get time, I want to read everyone's tips, because I can always use more help. My best organizational tip is to label the outside of every drawer with what is inside. Even if they're clear (I have a lot of different drawers -- some that are opaque, etc.), some things get hidden behind other things, so with the labels I can see where things are better. What a wonderful giveaway! Someone is going to be very lucky! Thanks for all of your wonderful tips and the inspiration you give us.

I love your tip on making a pad out of scrap papers. I take the ones that re large enough and cut them to fit an A2 card or a 5x7 card and keep them in a stack so that when I make a card I can go through my precut papers to begin my card. It saves going through all my large paper pads and stack of paper. I am a follower and subscriber.

Thanks for the hints on storing paper. I have two different ways I store my scraps. I have a small bin that is 9"x7 1/2" x 61/8" that I keep all my small scraps that are perfect for using on cards. I have dividers that I made and have them by color. For my larger scraps I have a file that rolls that I use and they are also sorted by color. Works well for me.
Hi - I use a large flat pizza box for keeping current work pieces in all together. Thanks for all the tips and the giveaway.

I have a plastic storage drawer system for all of my smaller crafting supplies. In the top drawer, I have all my adhesives and embellishements, because I use those the most. The next drawer down, I have all my stamp pads. Next I have all my embossing supplies. Then I have unmounted clear stamps. Then the drawers get larger and The last 3 drawers all hold wood mounted stamps. Of course all those are divided into different labeled sections such as Christmas, Love, Sentiments, etc. PLUS, I have each drawer labeled on the outside, using my label maker, so there is not question as to what is where!
Find a "home" for everything and keep it in it's "home".
Find everything a "home" and return it to it's "home" after you are done using it.
My best tip is keeping like items together. In order to do this in a fashionabe way, hubs saves cigar boxes for me and I paint them with acrylics and crackle finish and put cute knobs and embellies on them. Love upcycling with style and purpose!
I've just recently come to the realization that I need to keep product lines all together. So I have large ziplop bags and put everything in there that match the line.. paper, brads, ribbon, embellishments etc. I then keep any scraps that I've used in the same bag.
Anything that is "generic" gets filed separately.
just found your site and love all
the great ideas. I am not a good
organizer but my one tip- I used
all my decorative tins for storage
and label the outside with tags-stick them on with pop ups.

great info., I learned lots from you today. One of my favorite things is to make a data base list on my computer of all of my cartridges (name, type,), die cuts(type, size, subject), spellbinders (subject, size, type)
then I can have a copy to carry in my purse when I shop.
I was having trouble keeping my punches together as I have been moving lately. I took a large plastic storage container with dividers and punched a sample of each punch and attatched it to the top of the container so I know which compartment each stamp is in. Now I don't have to rummage through all of them to find what I want.
Greetings, I am still new at card making and having so much fun and look forward to seeing ideas from others and can't wait to try them out. My tip is I have all my supplies in clear stackable containers, and wire racks for paper, this way I can see at a glance in a hurry what I need to get a card together. They are on my work table or shelves in my craft room. Very handy. Thanks for the chance to win.

I really love your blog!! I've been enjoying reading all these organizational tips! Great ideas!! We have been traveling with my husband so I have had to condense my supplies and take the most used items with me! That was a bit of a stretch to decide what I needed with me but I'm figuring it out! We have a pick up truck so I put the crafting items in large totes. Not ideal but it works for now! Thanks for the chance to win!

I have several rolling storing carts w/drawers. They fit under my work table. I categorize stamps, punches and embellishments into the drawers. Categories for birthday, love (wedding, anniversary, Valentine), friendship, outdoor, etc. I hang generic punches in a see-thru shoe rack on the back of my craftroom door. Papers are stored by category or color. Thanks for all the tips.
I am a new follower of your blog. I came over from Everyday Cricut. I love your videos and have learned so much from watching them. My organizational tip is to use an accordion file for scrap paper, divided by color of course. I also use clear acrylic shadow box frames for storing my stamps. You can even stamp a sheet of paper and put in the bottom of the frame. Then you will know exactly where to return that stamp. I use lots of binders and clear shoe boxes for storage too.
I have photo boxes that I use to hold my memorabilia that I later will scrap. Once a month I go through my box and everything is laid in order. I love all these tips and would just be so happy to win! Please pick me! lclass003atgmaildotcom
I love to organize my scrapbook supplies almost as much as I love to scrapbook! Recently I spent a couple free days reorganizing my stuff just to 'rediscover' some of the things I have and get lots of new ideas for these items that have been pushed aside a little
Have just found you from Everyday Cricut. Love your cards.
As for organization tips I have several, #1 being having a husband that I can say to "Build me this" and he does. One thing he came up with on his own was a rectangular wood frame that hangs on the wall behind my door to hold all my embossing folders. It has shelves that are narrow with grooves in to stand the cuddlebug folders up in and have a dowel rod a few inches up from the bottom to hold them in.
He has a hook like on a screen door so that it swings open and the inside is like the front side to put more folders etc in. If anyone has a handyman like mine I can email you a picture if you like, parchcrafteratgmaildotcom
For those that don't have a woodworker in the family here is how I keep all my brads, eyelets, particularly fancy buttons, little gems, etc. I get these plastic snap hinged lid boxes at Harbor Freight that are clear and inside them are twenty four little boxes each with their own hinged snap lids. I put all my brads etc in by color, design,in each separate little box. Never have to worry about anything spilling out or digging thru because they are each separately contained. They are flat so they stack. You can see thru, under and all around them, just looking thru the outside of the main box. I have each main box labled and they are all stacked. I have about 10 or 12 in two stacks and they take up very little shelf space. I have never found anything better for all my little's.
Sorry Im so long winded.
