I use my iPhone as a Cricut handbook. I have them stored in iBooks.

Hi Linda, I am a new "poster". Just wanted you to know that I enjoy your tips and wanted to let you know that I store my papers in shelves that my husband made for me. It fits right into the book shelves that he made and placed in a corner that was not being used, just an empty spot. Anyway, my shelves will hold all the colors I use. As for my scraps, I am going to try making a book from your duck tape video. Love your videos.

I'm new to your site. My organizational tip is always put things back where they belong! And gallon bags work great for scrap paper by color. 12x12 drawers for 12x12 paper.I use clear boxes for everything and labels.

Hi Linda! Came over from Everyday Cricut. Thanks for sharing that wonderful tip... I usually just dump my scraps in one of those 6"-deep plastic storage drawers...

My organization tip would be to "throw as I go." I notice that if I don't clean up as I go along, I just don't clean up. Haha! I also set aside a day of the week to make sure I go through my craft supplies and craft area and clean, kind of like "laundry day," it's craft-cleaning day.

Thanks so much again for sharing.

I love your tutorials! I organize my stamps by putting them into photo sleeves and they put them into a 3 ring binder. This is an easy way to view all stamps that I have. I also love organizing my ribbon on my ribbon rings.

Wow - I've been reading for hours and just got to tip number 400! Great ideas! I keep all my paper in vertical Cropper Hopper holders, but each individual color is in it's own 12x12 page protector. Scraps go in the same sleeve, in front. Then, the page protectors are in ROY G BIV order. Pattern paper is just loose or in protectors by line. The page protectors are cheaper than ziploc baggies and stay upright easier. I also keep a list of my cricut carts and cuttlebug folders in my purse - you just never know when you are going to find a bargain, and you don't need two of any of those.

I have read your blog. It is very interesting on what you can learn. I also watch your videos and tips. II would like to be one of your winners. The cartridges that I can win are so great. I can do all my christmas cards with them. I hope I am a winner!

Another one of my favorite things is I bought a couple of curtain rods and hung them on the wall to store most of my punches with the handle grips. The punches hang perfectly on the rod.

I am just starting to scrap, i have most of my items stored on open shelving and clear drawers and containers, I have noticed that my children, grandchildren, and even my hubby has found something they wanted to use for their own projects. I like crafting with family, even better than crafting for family.

I didn't read ALL of the tips yet, but already saw some great ones. Mine is one I'm planning to use in my craft room: Attach a towel rack to the wall, and hang your punches on it. Then they're all lined up and easy to see.

These tips are all great - can hardly wait to get started using some of them. My tip is very simple actually, but it works for me. When I get ready make cards and know that paper pieces will be everywhere, I tape a small plastic bag to the edge of my work table and all the unusable scraps got straight into the trash bag and not all over the floor. I got this hint years ago when I started quilting...it's great for snips of thread.

Hello, I just found this blog. I must say your work is spectacular. I would say my organization tip for my craft room is to put away anything you get for crafting right away. Find it a home and put it there. I find that if I just put it on my count, my counter becomes an overwhelming pile of projects and goodies.

I organize my paper by color vs company. The companies I buy my paper from have similar paper quality.. This way I seem to always find enough paper if I am making multiple project.

My favorite organizational tip is to store all of my studio G stamps in a binder using baseball card inserts. The stamps fit perfectly without sliding out, and I can organize them in themes. I use a binder that zippers closed so as not to lose anything. My binder also has a zipper compartment on the front, and this is where I store all of my acrylic blocks. I love your blog & really look forward to all of your posts! Thanks for the chance to win!

A friend just recommended this sight and I can't get off it! So much great information. Thanks!!

I need to see my stamps to remember what I have. I bought several large acrylic frames that I use as trays. I lay out my stamps for easy viewing and the frames easily stack. I label the edges for themed trays -- holiday, birthday, nature, etc

To keep my scrapbook paper from taking over my entire house (which it has been known to do) I simply keep it in a scrapbook paper container. Ha! So simple, yet a lifesaver. I'm also a borderline upcycling addict, so I like to use containers (frosting, etc) to store the smaller cuts I want to keep.

I need all the organization tips I can find and so many good ones here. I have several of the cuttlebug embossing plates, so I designed a file folder with CDS and embossed the front of each with the embossing plate that is then placed inside. I have them in a metal box I picked up at Hobby Lobby.

Such a great idea! I will definitely have to use that to sort some of my leftover paper! For my organizational tip, I store all my paper and scrapbooking supplies in the multi-drawer carts on wheels so that no matter where in my apartment I am working, my stuff stays organized! I also have a large bin with a number of extendable folders that hold all of my paper by colour. My patterned paper is also sorted in these folders based on the predominant colour so it is easier to match it with whatever solid colour I am using. Thanks for the chance to win!

I have so enjoyed wandering thru this blog! Thank you! My favorite organizational tip is to sort my scraps into clear plastie 13x13 stacking tubs (3 inches high) by color families: neutrals, primary colors, blue undertones, yellow undertones. I also have a set of sandwich zipper bags that I sort the smaller scraps into; these are attached to a metal ring and hang above my workstation. This way I can easily grab a multitude of colored scraps that all "go" with whatever I'm working on.

I have been using self adhesive address labels for years to keep track of things in shoe boxes it works great! You don't need a lot of money to have things organized & ready to find at a moments notice!I decorate the outside of the boxes too! I usually use wall paper the they match! Thanks for all of your great ideas ladies! Tessa~

Linda, I have been a follower for a while and enjoy seeing what you share with us. My organization tip is that I save the serving containers from KFC (the new ones they have that they advertise are reusable). When I open a new container of embossing powder, glitter, etc. I transfer it to one of these containers. The lid seals tight and they stack well. I label them with a fine tip sharpie on the side and top.
Have enjoyed reading all of the tips and several I plan to incorporate into my little space.--Ryansmaama

I have the 12x12 clear storage boxes that are each labeled by holiday/occasion/subject. Each one is filled with all the supplies needed to create a layout. A great system if you frequently go to crops!

Hi. My fav organizational tip is for all my embossing folders. I had an old dvd case with the sleeves still in it. So I put all my folders in it. It has a large zipper that goes all the way around and it has a huge handle at the spine. I can carry it anywhere and not worry about any of the folders falling out.

Mine is to cut all scrap paper into rectangles or strips, which allows me to keep so much more of my paper in easy to use shapes that take up less space.

Wow, what a fantastic idea to have scrappers share their tips all in once place! Love it!! My organizational tip has to do with stickers. I originally had a binder with clear page protectors and sorted my stickers/rub-ons that way, but the binder became way too thick and the pages were very unbalanced. However, I found a plastic filing tote that can hole legal or letter size file folders. I bought legal sized hanging file folders, and then labelled file folders accordingly (ie. sports, schools, Christmas, boy, girl, baby, etc.) It is my Sticker Tote! Thanks for the chance to win such a fantastic prize!

Hi Linda, I have been a subscriber for a while and look for ward to your emails. You have some great projects and tips. I just try to keep my crafting area picked up so when I want to make a card I have the room.
Thanks for all you do for us.

I really need more tips on organization. I try my hardest but it never seems to be very well organized. I look forward to reading everyone's ideas that I can implement into my life.

I store my papers by color collections in alphabetical order in Cropper Hopper paper holders. Each color of cardstock has a tag on it with the name of the color.
My scrap papers are stored by colors in a Cropper Hopper accordian paper organizer which holds small pieces, 6x12 pieces and 12x12 pieces separately.

So many different ideas, how great!! I have several things I do. I use baskets for my cuttlebug folders, but love the idea of storing in a folder with the design on it. I have 2 of those colorful drawers on rollers, that is just indispensible for my papercrafting supplies.
One thing that I am doing now, as stamping is a large part of my crafting, is taking my stamps off wood and making them clear stamps. There are several videos on YouTube on ways to do this. The way I chose was the easiest and works the best for me. I got a bunch of the Stampin Up boxes for clear stamps. I put the stamp names on the edge, store them on a DVD bookshelf, easy peasy to find. Oh, I have always put mine in categories and numbered each set, have them on a Excel spreadsheet to make them easy to find. I'm only about a third of the way to taking them off wood, but it cuts storage space down to a quarter of what it was, at least!! My winter project to finish.

Here are two quick organizational tips:

I purchased a unit in the hardware store that is made for storing washers, bolt and screws. The body is metal and each of the little drawers is clear. Wonderful to store brads, flat marbles, tiny embellishments, beads and so forth. I have them organized by type of item and then by color so that things are easy to find and the clear drawers eliminate that dreaded "hunt and peck"!
A tip for storing unmounted stamps is to first stamp the image on a piece of paper, slide it into a page protector and then coat the back of the stamp with repositionable glue stick. Adhere the stamp over its respective image. Store all of the filled page protectors with the stamps adhered in a three ring binder. This method will allow you to know what the image looks like when stamped, if you have misplaced a stamp and what stamp company made a particular stamp if you write that on your image sheet.
Happy Creating!

Love your blog!

My favorite tip is using hanging pocket organizers. I have one for my stickler and smaller punches. I also use an over the door shoe organizer for my border punches.

I love your blog! My organizational tip is for small paper items that I've made with my Cricut and small paper scraps. I use paper CD sleeves - the ones with a clear window. They are very inexpensive and can be filed and stored easily! I bought colored sleeves and have even categorized by item and sleeve color, such as hearts in red sleeves, flowers in purple sleeves and leaves in green sleeves.

I have all my stickers in an expandable folder grouped in the types of stickers - birthday, baby boy, baby girl, wedding etc.

I have a plastic folder with several pockets that I keep my 8 1/2 x11 card stock in. The pocket next to the colord card stock I keep the same colored scraps. I can bring the folder to my working table and have several colors of card stock to work with without haveing to get up to get a different color for my project.

Congratulations. I use a kitchen turntable to group the supplies I reach for most often. When crafting and card making I just turn to the tool and it keeps my workspace less manic.

I have learned that the labeler is my friend. I label paper colors in like color scrap holders, stickers in catagories and special projects, travel, babies, etc. I put papers together with the stickers for that project.

I love this idea for storing paper scraps (I've currently got a box that's getting a little out of control)... looks like I'll be sorting & cutting paper this weekend. Maybe I can get my son to help if I leet him pick a few paper packs for his projects...
