Fab Five Friday

Welcome to Fab Five Friday! For those of you that are new to this blog, every Friday I showcase five blogs, websites or posts that I think you will enjoy.

Before we get started I want to thank you for all the comments, emails, and phone calls about our wonderful fur baby Izzy. At this point Dr. Brenda, aka miracle worker is treating her for idiopathic epilepsy. We got to visit Izzy on Tuesday and Wednesday. She is one sick cat but continues to defy all odds and survive. Dr. Brenda says it is amazing that she is alive and that most cats do not survive these types of massive seizures. We got to take her home on Thursday night and at this point, her quality of life is good, but we are taking it one day at a time. Each day she is with us is a gift. Now back to Fab Five Friday....

This elegant mantel and wreath were created by Lucy from Craftberry Bush. Lucy’s blog is visually stunning and she has been featured in Ladies Home Journal, Better Homes and Gardens and many other magazines. Click here to see her tutorial on how to make this elegant fall wreath. Also be sure to check out her project gallery. Be prepared to be amazed!

For some fun free printables, check out this post on the Making Memories Blog. I love freebies!

Speaking of fun freebies, I discovered this blog when reading the post I mentioned above and I am so glad I did. If you are a Smash book fan you will love all of the free printables designed by Rebecca from U Printables. Be sure to scroll down to see her free Keep Calm printables. If you enjoy smashing, then you are going to love this blog!

It Happened Like This is another beautiful blog filled with scrapbooking and card making ideas. Grab a beverage and check it out! Aly’s work is not to be missed!

I am a huge fan of duct tape and fell in love with Living Locurto’s post on making party decorations with duct tape. Amy’s post is so clever and the party decorations are adorable!

Have a fun Fab Five Friday and please stop back on Sunday for Simply Organized Sunday (SOS).
