Anna Griffin Lace Trimmings Cuttlebug Border Embossing Folders and Dies Review

I purchased the Anna Griffin Lace Trimmings Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and Dies from HSN several weeks ago and filmed a video concentrating on the cut and emboss dies.

Yesterday, I made a new video that concentrates on the border cut and emboss dies. Overall, I like the border dies, but had a few challenges that I discuss in the following video.

Below is my first video that features the cut and emboss dies.

Have a great week and I will see you Friday!

Linda, informative as always. Thanks! I don't think that the shift in the embossing is that noticable. At least my "non-card" making friends would be impressed and wouldn't know the different. But, have you tried feeding the border embossing folder "open" side first rather then the folded side when feeding through your Cuttlebug. I've been using my WR Memory Keepers Evolution and this hasn't been an issue.

What tool is it that you use to point in this video? Wooden handle with a clip at the end?

I was also going to suggest feeding the folder through with the open not folded side going into the machine first. I'm not sure if this will help, but Tim Holtz recommended it for some of his folders a while back and it seems to help there. Great video.

Have you tried taping the border to the embossing folder inside before taping the folder together on the outside? Don't know if it would work-just a thought~

I have a faint recollection of one of my blogs saying place the folder on the plate so that the "open edge" of the folder goes into the machine first. Hope this is a help.
