Slatted Basket and Tutorial

Work continues to be a bit crazy, but hopefully it will slow down next week so I can return to my regular blogging schedule.

Fortunately I have had time to work on a couple of quick projects. I saw this fun tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and just had to give it a try.

I recommend using Scor-Tape or another strong tape adhesive. I also added strips to the top panels. This project is super quick and easy and would make a perfect Easter basket.

I tied a double loop, double layered bow out of double faced satin and attached  it to the front of the basket.  I am working on a video on how to tie bows and hope to have it posted in the next month or so.

A special thanks to Betty from Kitty Stamp blog for this easy to follow video and tutorial!

Have a great Monday!

This is so sweet, Linda! Your bow is amazing! I think we need a tutorial on that!

I agree with Katie from Crafting Katie about the bow tutorial. I have the bow maker and for some reason I find the tool to be so confusing and complicated. Maybe you could do a video showing us how you made the beautiful bow.
