Recipe Box with Photo Mats and Journaling Cards

I used my Silhouette Cameo and a file from Lori Whitlock (#71002) to make an adorable recipe card box that includes cards for recipes, photos and journaling. I like to call it my recipe box/mini album. Good news, you can also purchase a file from Lori that works with your Cricut Explore. Or you could purchase a recipe box and make your own inserts.

Echo Park’s Homegrown paper collection was perfect for this project, but any paper will work.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Linda, that is just adorable!!! I love the papers you used! My mom really wants some of my cards to have on hand to give to people. I'm thinking maybe I could use this and adjust the sizes to make her a box to hold 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards. Do you think that would work with 12 x 12 paper?

Katie, thanks for the nice comment. I have not tried it, but it might work and I love the idea! Let me know if it works:) I can't wait to see your project. Sorry I could not be more help.

Love the recipe box Linda and love the paper collection you used. I think I'm going to make these for my DIL's for Christmas with family favorite recipes in it. Not sure if they will use any of the recipes, but at least they will have them. lol My son's will use them though. Thanks for sharing Linda. Hugs, Brenda
