I love my sketch pens and decided to try using them with the crop function on my Cameo. For this project I used a Lori Whitlock tag set and the moroccan and scalloped background files. I placed the tag image on top of the intricate design and used the crop function to create my sketch design. I cut my tag image and was done. I am working on a video demonstrating how to use the crop function with sketch pens and hope to have it done soon!

I love how easy it is to use the sketch pens for sentiments.

How to Use Silhouette Sketch Pens

Yesterday I posted this adorable card on Samantha Walker's blog and I could not wait to share it with you!   Let me start by saying, I love Samantha Walker’s intricate designs from the on-line Silhouette store. In today’s video tutorial, I will show you how to make this card and envelope using Samantha Walker’s files, Silhouette Sketch pens and my Cameo.

This card is made using Samantha’s A5 Peacock lace card, her Happy Day Sentiment from the Silhouette on-line store and the blue metallic sketch pen. I love the intricate design.

For the envelope I used her butterfly lace envelope also available at the Silhouette on-line store and the blue metallic sketch pen from Silhouette.

In today’s video I will show you how to use the Silhouette sketch pens to make a card and envelope. The techniques will work with other images too!

Chomas Creations Adjustable Pen and Marker Holders

A few weeks I filmed a video on how to use Silhouette Sketch Pens. Knowing how much I love the Silhouette pens, you can imagine how happy I was when Amy from Chomas Creations sent me the adjustable pen and maker holders to try in my Cameo! I am all about options and these wonderful tools gave me lots of new options.

I used my white Gelly Roll pen and it worked great. Then I tried my Copic Multiliner pens and mini gel pens from Staples and they also worked great. I did a happy dance when I discovered that all my Sharpies worked in the marker holder! Yahoo! You can use lots of different pens in the holder, but I ran out of pens to try.
