I love your shadow box. I really love a birdhouse I decopaged and use a key holder. I put little buttons with twine on the end and even have a little bird sticking out of one of the holes. Thanks for the chance to win a cartridge.

This is a wonderful project, love it! I would have to say my favorite craft project would be a project I made in July of 2011. I was in a Christmas blog hop. I made a card with a recessed window. Oh, I can't really explain it so here is the link....

But I just love it!

Great project, My favorite project I worked on was a gift card album my siblings and I put to gether for our Parents for Christmas in 2010. I worked on the book while they gathered the cards. I had fun making it and everyone loved the way it turned out.

I guess I would have to say the most favorite thing I've ever made is.... Many years ago I cross-stitched a garden-themed checkerboard for my mom. It was done on 24-count taupe-colored linen material. The stitches were so teeny tiny that it took about 2 years for me to complete, as I was having to take many breaks. There were also these little wooden disks that I decorated to go along with the set as the checkers.

I've been crafting so many years it's hard to pick a favorite. The first thing that came to mind is a Christmas ornament I made for my grandchildren - a snow globe from individual (and that means small) jelly jars.

I am also a FB fan. I already have this cart but my granddaughter just got a Cricut for her birthday and needs to build up her collection.

I love the shadowbox! I think my favorite crafty project is one where I am trying a new technique. I mostly make cards, but every now and then I tackle something new. Thanks for the chance to win that great cart!

My all-time favorite project is actually one that I'm still working on. I've always been infatuated with the Amish culture (I live in NE Ohio, where there's a large Amish population and I visit their communities often), so I decided to cross-stitch Amish pictures using the "Told In A Garden" patterns to decorate a room in my home. I have 7 of them finished, but I'm still working on a few more to add to the collection. My aunt taught me to embroider when I was about 5 years old, and I've been cross-stitching for the 50 years since!

Your shadow box is amazing! My favorite craft project was an accordion folded picture book that I glued in a medal tin. I put pictures of my son and his cousins and gave it to my mom for mother's day. She loved it! Thanks for a chance to win! I am already a subscriber.

While I am absolutely addicted to scrapbooking, I must admit that my favorite craft project of all time was not a paper project. I have two actually. When my son was very little, I made him a clown out of scrap material (turned out very cute). My other one is a crocheted hot air balloon which hung from the ceiling (too cute)! I LOVE your shadow box. Thank you for the opportunity, Linda.

My favorite craft project were all the items I created for my granddaughter's wedding. We simply decorated blue Mason jars with twine and butterflies and added baby's breath with submersible lights. Also created "fan" programs which I created using my Silhouette Cameo. Also created invitations and favors. This was truly a labor of love.

Love making fold out cards, anything but ordinary is fun!

Lately my favorite paper craft is the Exploding Box. Have made two of them to hold birthday gift certificates and then made the gift card holder to match. I love making them, they take a little time but the result is beautiful. So proud of them.

Very hard to chose just one favorite project, but it is probably the first baby album I made for a friend's grandson. I made it for his first year, each month dedicated to whatever was special that month. Very loved album and it turned into 4 orders for albums.

Diane M. said...

It's hard to pick my favorite...but I started cross-stitching as a kid and one of my favorites was a baby quilt I stitched for my sister's baby. With paper, I love making banners. The shadowbox is adorable, Linda. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

My favorite was a heritage album I made for my grandmother for her 90th birthday (she will be 97 next month!!) It took over a year to gather the photos and complete the album, but it is a family treasure. I wish I could duplicate it for all my family members! I was even able to locate two photos from the 1800's, one of which was a tin type.

Wow! 50 years of crafting makes it impossible to choose just one. I guess one of my favorite was an album I made for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary - with photos and a page for each of the places we lived as we moved about with the Air Force, each of the kids wedding photos, letters from family and friends in honor of the occasion, and room for photos of the celebration itself!

I guess my favorite craft project was making a 2' X 6' banner for my husband when he was running for re-election as a county commissioner two years ago. I didn't know if I could line things up on something that big or not but it turned out really well and people were so surprised when I told them I made it! I was very proud of that project!

My favorite project is one that's hanging on my parents' wall in their home. It's a page for their birthdays (his in June, and hers in July)...and it has a couple of pics of them with their grandkids. It lists out some of the reasons we love them - things like- they love my children unconditionally, they moved thousands of miles to make a new home for us...for these reasons, "and many more"!

tndj said...

I have the just because cartridge - love your shadow box and the colors. My favorite project was making a "Waterfall card". It was fun. Splitcoast stampers had another one that had 6 sides. that was also fun. Don't know if it was 6 sides but there were 6 flaps to open! Fun both of them.

Wow... to pick just one project. I guess it would have to be my wedding album. We got a fancy one with wedding day pics from the photographer, but I also wanted to capture the events that happened before and after the wedding, like dress shopping and the shower, the honeymoon. So, I decided to make my own album :) Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite project was when I made a little "Happy Easter" cross- stitch bunny and put in a small frame. Some of my family members wanted me make them one too and I thought "woww", they really like my handiwork!!!

Just one????? Boy oh boy.... I guess I would have to say the wobble-head Denver Bronco and Rockies cards that I made. Everyone loved them. Thanks for the chance to win.

Your shadow box is Sweet! I can see why that was so much fun to create. I altered a photo frame, made a tiny freshwater pearl bracelet and a sweet little card for a brand new baby girl. It was so much fun and you can see it here: http://www.paperpanacea.blogspot.com/2012/05/for-sweet-baby-girl.html

My favorite project is still a work in progress - my pregnancy album! I had my daughter on April 14, so I obviously have had no time at all to finish it. I love remembering all of the details of getting ready for her birth. Some day I'll start her first year album as well.

my favorite is my Christmas cards. Each year i design a card using my grandmother's Christmas spoon collection as inspiration. The spoons start in 1910 so i have quite a few years of inspiration.
Thank you Linda!

I have been a crafter for many, many years. You name it, I've probably done it: painting in oils, decopage, macrame, making pine cone wreaths, quilting, sewing, and currently dollhouse miniatures, scrapbooking and card-making. I really can't choose just one favorite project. What comes to mind is my very first quilt and my sons quilts to take to college with them, my very first dollhouse miniatures roombox and my first piece of miniature furniture, my first large pine cone wreath, and my first scrapbook layouts and cards.

I improved in each craft by doing more of course, but I think the "firsts" will always be the most memorable for me - probably because of the satisfaction of having created something new and (to me) beautiful! I love to create.

On the strength of your amazing shadow box,I bought the files for the 12x12 version. I LOVE it! I sourced the papers too, but couldn't bear to use 'em, so they are still languishing in the packaging! (Plus it wouldn't be cricket to use the same papers, would it)!
This has to be my favourite project as it's different, makes a perfect wall ornament and is also a place to keep memories.

love the shadow box, my project that I am most proud of is that I did a not so mini album for my Dad documented his Washington D. C. I made sure that I added journal spots for all the memorials, etc, even added the banquet program, jouornaled his saying and responses that he said during the trip, He was featured in the hometown paper on the return a proud moment for this 88 year old veteran

I've been into crafting since I first went to Vacation Bible School for two weeks in the summer many, many years ago! One of my favorites is the card I made my for my mother's-in-law 93rd birthday called a "flip & fold" card that appeared in a magazine a couple years ago.

I love your shadow box. It sort of reminds me of my favorite craft project which was a paper piecing/polymer clay/fiber alphabet collage mounted on painted canvas, for my new daughter Kylie. Super awesome project. D is for dinosaur with a polymer clay dinosaur, O is for owl, with a paper pieced owl, R is for ribbon, with ribbons sewn on a paper square, etc. I was even able to incorporate photos, with E for Erin and a picture of her sister and H for home and a picture of our house. Awesome project, which let me incorporate many of my different craft hobbies, and it is a keepsake for Kylie!

My favorite craft so far has been scrapbooking my parents life. After they passed, I realized if I didn't do something with all the pictures and journal events and people my granddaughters would not know anything about their pass generations and where they came from. It was long and hard but I loved how it turned out!

My favorite craft project is 36 years old. I helped my 8 yr. old design a 3D farm scene, complete with house, red barn, animals, shrubs, a picket fence and a clothes line. He did the cutting and gluing and I helped stablize the pieces onto green crepe paper covered styrofoam. He entered the project in the county fair and won 1st place. After all these years, he still has it.

I would have to say my favorite craft project was my 23 yr old daughter's dance scrapbook! When she graduated High School I presented her with a scrapbook of her 15 yrs of dance shows! took me 7 months to do but it was so amazing to see the transformation from a 3 yr old new dancer to an 18 yr old woman! something she will have to show off to her children someday!

My current favorite project is a scrapbook documenting the 6 months that my husband & I babysat our 2 1/2 (now almost 3)yr old granddaughter, showing the many things we enjoyed doing and the
quirky things she did. I only have 5 days left until she goes to a family daycare, and this book will be given to her for her 3rd birthday so she will always be reminded of the time spent with us (know I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms). It has been a very blessed experience.
