Cricut Tag Mini Gift Boxes

I recently received an email from Graphic 45 showcasing mini gift bags using Graphic 45 tags. I loved the idea so much that I created these adorable little tag gift bags using my Cricut Explore Machine and paper scraps for the mini bags. I will be back Wednesday with a video tutorial!

I am in love with these tags made from Cricut cartridges. I am currently filming a video on how to make these mini gift bags and I hope to have it posted on Wednesday.

I wanted this tag to be special, so I hand pieced the inserts to look like a mosaic. I will explain more in my upcoming video.

I love this Cricut tag.

I customized the mini bag to fit this tag and it was so easy to do!

Stay tuned for links and a video! Work is a little crazy this week so I am behind. Too many ideas and too little time. Sound familiar?

Have a great Monday!

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards or projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

I purchased the card file (#47201) from the Silhouette On-line store. I sized it so I could attach a real tea bag to the inside of my card.

Next use your favorite tag and size it to fit. I used a file (#50939) from the Silhouette on-line store. I wanted a rounded tag instead of the one that came with the card file. The stamp is from my stash.

The paper is from Anna Griffin, including the metallic paper. I love how her papers coordinate with all her kits. I even used a gold sticker from one of her card kits! I added some rhinestones and was done. Super easy!

My tea bag fits perfectly. I am giving the card and a tea bodum to my friend for a just because gift!

Have a great Monday!

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards or projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

I am in love with the new, or at least new to me, Classically Modern Cards Cricut Cartridge.

I used the Special Delivery Image and matching envelope to make this project. I just had to add glitter to the bundle. This card was so easy to make. I love that the envelopes and liners come with the cards. A couple of weeks ago, I did a video on my favorite Cricut envelopes. Please see below if you missed the video the first time around.

Also, be sure to watch Melody Lane’s video on how to size cards and envelopes using Design Space.

Tag Mini Album Video

Today I want to show you a cute tag mini album that I created. I got the idea from Ginger at My Sister’s Scrapper and modified it using my Silhouette Cameo. You could also cut your own tags or cut them using your Cricut Explore.

I am always inspired by Ginger and love her video on how to make custom sized covers and binding.

I always follow Ginger’s advice when customizing my album covers and bindings. And a special thanks to Kathy Orta for her hidden hinge binding system.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards or projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

As most of you know, I am a huge fan of Jamie Cripps and her cutting files for both the Cricut and Silhouette machines. I purchased Jamie’s 3D Ribbon and Washi Tape Storage file (# 47683) from the Silhouette On-line store for this quick and easy project.

Each slot fits a roll of Washi tape or ribbon perfectly, but not so snug that you can't easily get them out.

This project was only two pieces and took less than 10 minutes to make. To make the holder a little more sturdy I lined the bottom of the tray with a piece of card stock. Jamie also has an expandable version of the Washi tape Holder (#555265) that you can purchase.

Have a great Monday and I hope to have a new book video for you on Wednesday.

Make it in Minutes Monday

Welcome to Make it in Minutes Monday. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards or projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.

I am behind on making cards for Valentine’s Day, so I really appreciate the Make it Now Cricut Explore Valentine’s projects!

I purchased the Dimensional Heart Card file and it was so easy to make! I used my glue pen to carefully glue all the layers. I then attached the heart to my card using foam dots for added dimension.

Have a great Monday and I hope to have a new video for you on Wednesday.
