My friend recently purchased a camper van and I could not wait to make her a card to celebrate. This card folds flat and can be easily mailed.
I purchased the Pop Up Box Card Camper (#143159) image from the Silhouette On-line store and made a custom van, instead of using the camper that came with the file. You can purchase an SVG file from Lori Whitlock that you can cut with your Cricut Explore.
My friend named her van Frida, and is in the process of a major make-over. I used the car (#M34B889) from the Cricut Campin’Critters cartridge and resized the image to fit on the pop-up card. I used vintage Basic Grey papers from my stash and I was thrilled with the final product.
I have a friend that loves pizza so I thought I would make her a pizza card in a box. I think this card turned out great!
For this card, I used the Pizza Box file (#61145) that I purchased from the Silhouette on-line store.
I hand cut liners for the box and added a happy birthday flourish (# 49867) sentiment to the inside of the box. I cut two pizza background circles and glued them together to make the card.

I recently read a Graphic 45 Snapguide on how to make an adorable gift bag using Graphic 45 tags and I thought how cute they would look using a tag I cut with my Cricut Explore. Scroll down for my video tutorial and Snapguide from Graphic 45.
I love how they turned out!
For this tag, I used the Damask Tag from Damask Decor (#M3FFBC) and liner. I sized the tag to 2.54 x 3.52.” For the gift bag, cut a piece of paper 7” x 2 3/4” and score at 2 1/4, 2 3/4, 3 1/4, 5 1/2, 6, and 6 1/2 inches. Cut a second piece 2 1/4” x 2” and score at 1/2 & 1 1/2”- parallel to the longer side. Thanks Graphic 45 for these measurements!
This tag is the Rose Layered Tag (#M3F966) from the Picturesque cartridge and sized to 2.5 x 4.76”. Cut a piece 7” x 4” and score at 2 1/4, 2 3/4, 3 1/4, 5 1/2, 6 and 6 ½ inches. This piece is for the sides. Cut a second piece 2 1/4” x 2” and score at 1/2” and 1 1/2”- parallel to the longer side.
This bag is made using the Blue Tag (#M44C3E) from the Something to Celebrate cartridge and sized to 2.59 x 4.49.” Cut a piece 7” x 3 7/8 ” and score at 2 1/4, 2 3/4, 3 1/4, 5 1/2, 6, and 6 1/2'”. Cut another piece 2 1/4” x 2” and score at 1/2” and 1 1/2”- parallel to the longer side.
I was thrilled when Kasey from Tombow contacted me to try out their new Xtreme adhesive. What better test than a tissue box cover made out of paper?
Tombow’s Xtreme Adhesive is the latest Tombow product to hit the market and is 5 X’s stronger than their standard tape runner. It works on a variety of hard-to-glue surfaces such as cardstock, cork, wood, fabric, glass, plastic and rubber. This cover is made using Jamie Cripps 3D Flower Rectangle Tissue Box (#64932) that I purchased from the Silhouette on-line store.
I used a glue pen on the flower and Xtreme Adhesive on the box. My tissue box cover will get plenty of use and I expect the Tombow Xtreme Adhesive will keep everything secure. What a great test for their new product!

Lately, I just can’t stop making box cards! My husband noticed my infatuation and begged me to make a camping box card so I just had to make one more. They are so easy to make and addicting!

This is the outside of Donna’s beautiful box. Donna was inspired by a project made by Nadia from With Glittering Eyes and Donna’s box turned out perfectly!

I love how Donna punched the inserts and added them to her project. Donna is making a total of four boxes for an upcoming retreat with her sisters. Donna plans to put a photo of herself and her three sisters on these inserts.
Here is a photo of more of her adorable inserts. I love how delicate they look. Donna plans to have each of her sisters write a memory of their sister on these inserts. What a great idea! They are going to love this gift!

Last week I posted Samantha Walker’s quick and easy 3-d surprise box on her blog and could not wait to share.
I made this easy box using Samantha Walker Surprise box cutting file (ID #42135) that I purchased from the Silhouette on-line store and my Silhouette Cameo machine. I also used Samantha Walker’s stamp from her For All You Do Vintage Labels Three stamp collection. I cut the stamp out using the Vintage Labels Three dies from JustRite and I used Irojiten pencils from Tombow to color in stamped images. I love their pencils!
The fun thing about Samantha’s stamp set is that you can change sentiments to fit your needs. I had so much fun making different sentiments that I just had to make a video to show you her amazing box, stamps and matching dies. They are so easy to use.
