Cricut Joy…. Halloween Style
I purchased the Cricut Joy from HSN and I am in love with it!
I recently watched Anna Griffin on HSN and she inspired me to start on my Halloween cards. The Joy is so easy to use, and this card only took minutes. I used the black insert from the Glitz and Glam Insert Cards to make this project and Halloween paper from my stash. The Joy makes carding making so easy and fun!
Hope this post finds you safe and well.

Make it in Minutes Monday…..Wednesday Style
Welcome to Make it in Minutes Wednesday. I have been under the weather so I am a little behind on my posts. I thought it would be fun to feature quick and easy cards or projects that take only minutes to make, but look like you spent more time making them.
I purchased the round Four Halloween Tags (# 49261) from the Silhouette On-line store and used one to cut my yellow jack o ‘lantern. I hand cut the orange tag and used stamps from my stash. I also used my MISTI for the stamped tag.
I purchased the rectangle Halloween Tags Spiders and Bats( # 97524) from the Silhouette On-line store. I used paper from my stash and was done in a few minutes. I left the twine long so I could attach the tags to Halloween party favors.
Thanks for stopping by and have a marvelous day!

Lori Whitlock Creative Team October Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the Lori Whitlock Creative Team August Blog Hop! You should be arriving from Cathy’s blog or you can start from the beginning of the hop at Lori Whitlock’s blog. Before we get started with the blog hop, please click here to win a free Silhouette Portrait machine.
I made these adorable three dimensional stickers using Lori’s Layered Halloween Embellishments 2 Collection.
I cut my stickers out of glitter paper from DCWV using my Silhouette Cameo. When cutting glitter paper on my Cameo, I set my blade to eight and do a double cut. In addition, I keep a blade just for cutting glitter paper. It cuts like butter. These stickers are so easy to make and versatile. You could add them to cards, gift boxes, bags or use them for Halloween treats. All I did was add 3 D foam squares to each layer and was done.
In honor of today’s hop Lori is giving everyone a free SVG download on her blog.
Lori is also offering 30% off of all shapes and fonts in her shop through Sunday October 19th when you use the code “SPOOKY”. Be sure to visit her shop to see all the new goodies she has created!
There is also a 30% off sale at Snap Click Supply today only!
And please don’t forget to enter my free Silhouette Portrait giveaway by clicking here.
I hope you will check out all the other exciting projects at my fellow teammate’s blogs and leave them some love. Simply Tya is your next stop in the hop.
Have fun!

Silhouette Tutorial: How to Make Smooth Score Lines and Cut in One Step!
Hi everyone, last week I posted this on Lori Whitlock’s blog and I had to share. In today’s video tutorial, I demonstrate how to make smooth score lines and cut in one step using your Silhouette Cameo.
I used this technique on Lori’s 5 x7 serving tray (# 48179) that I purchased from the Silhouette on-line store and it turned out perfectly. I love how cute these mini cupcakes look on this tray! To make the toppers, I used the spider from Lori’s Cute Halloween Set . Her set also comes with an adorable pumpkin and ghost. I used washi tape and attached the toppers to a toothpick.
Notice how smooth the score lines are. Please see the video below for detailed directions on how to make smooth score lines.
I have been using this technique on all my Silhouette projects and I love it…no more cut marks!
Hope you enjoyed the video and have a wonderful day!

Trouble Halloween Card and Adventures with Izzy
My Halloween card is made using my Expression and the Happy Hauntings cartridge. I used the mouse from page 55, the bat from page 41 and the word "trouble" is on page 50. Next, I cuttlebugged the cape and hat with Divine Swirls and used swiss dots on the word trouble and the mouse. So cute and easy. Next time, I will use my Imagine to flood fill some of the cuts.
Our cat Izzy is always getting onto trouble, especially in my craft room. Instead of a mouse, I should have made this card with a black and white cat. Here are some of my favorite photos of Izzy (Trouble) in my craft room or should I say her cat room!
Here is Izzy sleeping on my laptop. She refuses to be ignored.
She likes the TV off so she can be the center of attention.
Silly cat, she thinks her ears are invisible.
Izzy sleeping on my crafting table. I mean her cat sofa.
Stayed tuned for more Izzy and Jackson adventures. Jackson is our other cat. We were lucky when we rescued these two wonderful cats from our local shelter.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!
